Welcome to lockdown Mummy!

If you have come to my site, I’m assuming you have a similar experience to myself or are going through something similar as we speak.

So who am I?

My name is Lucy. I’m 33 years old and became a first time mum to my gorgeous son Jacob-Dylan in April 2020.

For those of you who haven’t been living under a rock, 2020 will be very familiar to you as the year of Coronavirus.

Jacob was born April 10th 2020, during the very first lockdown, and as such has become one of many babies referred to as pandemic babies or lockdown babies.

I have been thinking of ways of I can document his early years for him, and I finally decided to put pen to paper and start blogging. I want Jacob to have happy memories from his start in life, but I am also painfully aware that he will have some bad memories as well.

I want to share my life as a new mum during a pandemic, hopefully meet other mums who are going through similar situations as well and create a community of lockdown Mummy’s!.

I will be posting our personal journey, but also providing reviews of places we have been and things we have done and seen!
