I think you and Belch would honestly be the cutest thing ever cause he’s so broad and burly and you’re pretty short and skinny so he’d literally just scoop you up and carry you everywhere, feeling like it was his job to protect you and l o v i n g it. Not to mention you two are both fairly shy, so you’d be so bashful in public, blushing every time you touched.
Here’s how I picture your date with Belchie Boy:
He’d get to your house way earlier than he had to because he was so nervous and excited
He’d try to park behind a tree so you wouldn’t notice, but you were eagerly waiting by your window and saw him right away
You’d immediately run outside to the driver’s side door and give him a quick kiss through the window before climbing into the passenger seat
He’d try to hide his smile, but he never could, you were just too cute
The shy, “Hey darlin’” i die
He’d take you to a drive in movie theatre and you guys would get ALL the snacks
Holding hands, munching snacks, and watching movies (I’m jealous and I’m literally the one writing this)
After the movies ended he’d take you on a short drive through the outskirts of town
You’d take turns playing your favorite CDs and telling funny stories about all your friends (although his were more unsettling than funny)
Even though he was friends with such awful people, he talked about them with so much joy in his eyes you couldn’t help but love them too
Once he drove far enough out of town he’d pull over into a field and get the blanket out of the trunk he always kept in case you got cold
The two of you would lay on the blanket, eat leftover movie snacks and look at the stars, hand in hand
You’d fall asleep and he’d wrap you in the blanket before carrying you back to the car
He’d try as hard as he could not to wake you while carrying you back into your house and up to your room
You’d wake up slightly, so he’d stay a while, holding your hand and telling you stories until you fell back asleep
He’d even leave you a note on your desk to read in the morning about how much he enjoyed his day with you
