Loki nods a little as he listens to him, the scavengers we’re ruthless when they found him, his hand coming to rub his neck where the disk was. “You are quite the impressive fighter. Your fights are very… showy.”
“It’s hard to explain,” Loki says, sighing a little as he looks at Ballistic. His nose crinkles a little as he tries to think. “It was Loki but it wasn’t me. I’ve just arrived in this universe a few weeks ago. That Loki died… the one that attacked New York.”
Loki can feel his mouth watering as he follows ballistic to the counter, looking down at the selection of foods. “Being kept as your pet would be better than being in the prison or back as his pet,” he sighs softly as he picks up two glasses for them
“Well, I learned early on that the Grand Master enjoys entertainment more so than just people killing one another. He’s.. weird, but I did what I had to, to remain alive. I don’t want to be zapped into a puddle of goop.” Shaking his head as he sits down at the island table.
Listening the Loki, trying to understand what the other individual had been saying to him. “What do you mean it’s you but not you.. like a doppelganger or something?” Quieting down as he heard Loki mention that they had only been in this universe for a few weeks.
“I don’t want you dead. You sound lost.. Its not right to kill someone that has had their world flipped upside down.” Sighing as he takes the glass, filling it with some type of alien liquor. Handing the bottle off to Loki. “We have a few days to figure it out.”
Loki shuddered a little as he remembered seeing someone get zapped by that stick. The smell was something he was never going to forget. “He does prefer the entertainment value in the fights I suppose…”
“I suppose doppelgänger is the right word for it,” he says as he takes a seat at the island with Bucky. He looks down at his hands, there’s a tightness in his chest that he wants to ignore. “Have you ever heard of the multiverse theory?” It’s an innocent enough question. Most people had.
Loki pours himself a drink, taking a sip and his nose crinkling a little. It’s kind of spicy but cold spicy. “I’ve been lost for so long… I don’t feel like I remember where I came from,” he sighs softly, fork coming to toy a little with the food on his plate. “What about you? How did you end up here?”

Wakanda? Loki raises a brow as he carefully walks his way around the room, making sure he doesn’t quite turn his back on the other. “So you were picked up by the bifrost and dropped here? That sounds unpleasant…” no as unpleasant as dropping from nowhere he supposes.
“That was… not me. But also me? Not me me but a me,” he says cryptically, tilting his head a little as he tries to explain it. Or at least think of a way to explain it better. But it doesn’t really come to him. He gives a little shrug. “I’m going to go with not me if that’s easier.”
“We’ll I don’t think we really have a choice about not fighting. We will have to fight if the grandmaster demands it, but we don’t have to kill eachother.”
“It was terrifying. But.. after I killed the junk yard scavengers and got brought in.. the grand master took interest in me. Said he’d never seen a human like me before. Offered me two choices. Fight in the ring or die. You can see why I am where I am now.”
Tilting his head at the comment that it wasn’t them. “But.. I saw you?” Questioning as he stared at the other. “Were you.. not in control of your own mind too?” Gently asking as he could understand if Loki had been in a similar situation to him within their own past.
“If I don’t kill you, they’ll throw you in prison. Unless I.. choose to keep you as a reward. Or what would be seen as one in the grand master’s eyes.” He walks over to a smaller door when a green light goes off above it. Claiming the large tray. Walking back to the counter top with several bottles of liquor. “Supper.” Smiling a little as he nudges the tray of mouth watering food towards Loki.

Loki is… concerned? Is that the right word for the dread pooling lowly in his belly as he watches the grandmaster saunter towards where a feast already was starting. Left alone with a brown haired man who killer someone already today. Though Loki was sure it wouldn’t be the last death.
The careful hand around his wrist, pulling him away from a building that was just beginning to become familiar to somewhere completely new. Ballistic is silent during the walk and Loki isn’t willing to break that silence. Citizens party in the streets for another excellent showing at the arena, the red star banners being flown.
He waits until the other talks, finding himself in a new home, obviously more lived in that the grandmasters building. He picks up a trinket, looking at it in his hands before looking up at James.
“I’m sure that you already know the answer to that. I got… lost,” he says, putting the trinket back, hands clasped behind his back as he looks at the other. A knife would be foolish now, even if it was just to defend himself.
“Look, I was in Wakanda a year ago. Just trying to get my mental complexities under control and then one night after supper this bright rainbow beam sucks me up and spits me out in the junk yard here on Sakaar.. so I have really no idea what you’ve gotten yourself up to. The space internet out here is.. heavily restricted compared to what I’ve been told of the other planets. So.. I don’t know what you were up to before you landed here.”
B.B.H. looks at the petite individual. “Last I knew of you was back in 2011 or 2012.. when you tried setting a bomb off in New York City. Those.. robotic aliens were terrifying. But after that? I have no real idea as to what you’ve been up to.. but I know it’s not a blessing to end up here.” Huffing as he looks at Loki. “I don’t want to fight you. And I do not want to kill you. So.. what are we going to work out here?”

I really liked the part where you kinda threw him up in the air before slamming him into the ground,” Grand master laughed, doing a kind of head bob thing, moving around the couch to bring Ballistic around to stand infront of Loki.
Loki rises gracefully from his knees, giving a small head bow to Ballistic. He’s familiar. He’s sure he’s seen the other man before. He hates being talked about like he’s not even there.
“Scrapper 142 finds me all the best gifts,” Grandmaster says, one hand on Bucky’s shoulder, the other hand stroking Loki’s head gently. “Loki here will go with you until you both fight in oh say… 3 days. Come. Lets go feast!”
Loki feels the dread as Grandmaster turns, leaving the pair behind as he leads towards the feasting hall. He turns to the other man, tilting his head just a little. “I know who you are….”
“Right, you enjoy when I am playful before the slaughter. My apologizes. I will make sure to.. have a little fun in the warrior ring.” Ballistic promises while he allows the Grand Master to walk him over to the life pet.
Once he heard the name, he couldn’t help but recall who the young seemingly human looking individual had been. Holding his tongue for now. Looking from the Grand Master to the one called Loki.
“Fight? Why do you desire me to fight them? Have they wronged you?” His voice holding a twinge of concern but G.M. was already long down the hall. His gaze slowly creeps back to the jet black haired person.
“…I know you too.. but we cannot talk about it here.” Ballistic utters under his breath before looking at one of the service members in the room. “I would like for my portion of the feast to be brought to my quarters, please.” Requesting before he softly grabbed Loki by their wrist and lead him in the opposite direction of the feasting hall. He didn’t say a single word during the walk.
Once the pair crossed the threshold of the large studio apartment sized room, he let go. The doors auto locking behind him. “Talk. Why are you here? I’m not going to kill a family member of an Avenger.. that would be very stupid of me.”

Loki was honestly impressed at the man’s ruthless efficiency. He’s quick but still gives a show of some kind for the audience. The alien twitches pathetically as Loki is sure it releases its final death rattle. GrandMaster laughs, clapping his hands as he watches Ballistic efficiently end the aliens life.
“Bring him up. I want to reward him properly,” GrandMaster says, stroking his fingers through Loki’s hair. “Maybe I’ll lend you to him, really reward him for a good show.”
“I’m not an object to be handed around,” Loki says, hissing as the fingers dig into his hair, pulling tight. Fingers release as Ballistic steps in. He’s more recognisable to Loki now, the god staying in his position on his knees as the grandmaster stands, arms open for him.
“I wanted to congratulate you on a good fight!” Grandmaster grins, patting Bucky’s arm as he brings him around the couch. Another fight going on in the pit. “So efficient. It’s almost like you’re getting bored. You might need a challenge for once. Maybe someone good with knives?”
Loki tenses up from his spot. Was it him the Grandmaster was talking about?
Bucky could hear the conversation as he made his way into the room. Typically he would decline the grandmaster’s offers of giving him a ‘life pet’ as he’d tried it once and woke up to a blade being lodged in his side. After that incident, he had stopped trusting the people that his so called friend would offer out to him.
He could see the fear in the new flavor of the month’s eyes. Most of them were terrified of him. B.H.B didn’t like it, but he had to be cautious of his words. If he slipped up with too much discomfort, the GrandMaster would give him a rival that could actually come close to taking his life. “Oh, that is very kind of you. But I just kind of wish to be alone tonight after the celebratory supper.” Tilting his head. “A challenge? Are you growing bored of the way I’m handling myself in the ring? I can play around a tad more if you’d like. I suppose I rushed it today on the account of my flesh hand still being a little tender.”
Why do they look so familiar? Have I met this person before? I hope not.. I don’t want them to harm me.. But I’m terribly curious..
