Lokius. Rated M. 5k. Missions gone wrong, whump, rated for violence, rescue, happy ending.

Things aren’t looking good. The two of them are deep in enemy territory hiding behind a dumpster in a narrow alleyway deep in a city on a backwater timeline surrounded on all fronts by Kang’s army. That’s bad enough, but the real problem is there’s no way to leave because their TemPad is on the blink. Loki glances back at Mobius punching in commands to try and make it work but all it’s doing is making more noise, potentially attracting attention.

“We need a place to lay low for a bit,” Loki hisses, peering out to check the alleyway and the main streets beyond. They can’t see any of those infernal emotionless robots, but they can hear the endless trudge of these machines marching through the city, pushing aside everything in their path.

“If I could only get into the operating system, I might be able to…”

“It’s broken,” Loki whispers. “There is no fixing it. At least, not here. We need another plan.”

“We have to try.”

“I know,” they say softer, catching Mobius’ eye. “But only after we’ve found somewhere secure. It’s best we keep this thing safe until we do.”

During Wanksgiving, I wrote a little sex pollen drabble for these two and thought that was it. Then a couple weeks later, the spirit of smut possessed me and I expanded it to this. Posting as a part of Wanksmas to serve as a distraction during another round of holiday festivities, should you need it.

He raised his hand to his ear, as if listening to something, “Don’t you hear it calling our names? ‘Come get your photo taken, Loki. It’s a perfect way to capture a memory, Mobius,’” he joked, giving him a showy smile and pulling at the sleeve of his jacket. "Come on, Loki. Let's do something fun!” While searching for a dangerous artefact someone had mistakenly donated to a charity shop in early 2000s London, Mobius spots an old photo booth.

Summary:

Loki was uncharacteristically silent as he stared at Frigga.   “Mother?” someone else spoke up.  Don’s heart stopped. He knew that voice. It lacked the gravelly quality he was used to but there was no mistaking it. He spun around.  The person behind them bore an unmistakable resemblance to Loki except for one glaring difference: his skin was blue. 

With the pieces of his plan finally coming together, Loki intends to claim his place on the timeline. But nothing is ever that easy for this particular variant.

August Lokius Creative Challenge

Hi guys! Here's August's prompt.

In case you don't know, The Creative Challenge is a monthly event that has the goal of creating all kinds of fanwork related to the characters Loki and Mobius. For this reason, we want artists, writers, and editors to create whatever they can imagine based on the month’s prompt.

Guidelines under cut.

Guidelines

This event is freeform, meaning creators don’t have any restrictions other than following the prompt. Writers can write as much or as little as they want. Artists can submit all kinds of art (i.e. fanart, posters, sketches, comics, edits, etc).

All the work is free to post it anywhere.

The prompt will be posted on the 1st day of every month and the event will run through the month (although it's totally okay to use the prompt later on).

Anyone can participate, you don’t have to ask permission or fill out any forms. Everyone is welcome regardless of skill level.

This is a Lokius-related event. It's okay to not participate with anything ship-related but we do ask that it be related to at least one of the characters.

The work submitted should be created after the prompt is posted. It is okay to use your WIPs.

NSFW is allowed but we ask that you warn about the content.

We appreciate it if you give a little shout to the event when posting publicly since all prompts are coming from members of the server. You can tag me on tumblr or other social media (I'm @impulsemuppet and @peppermintkamz everywhere)

AI-generated work is not allowed. It's impossible to 100% determine if a piece of writing was generated by AI but there are some tells, so please don't do it. This event is for fun after all. AI-generated images are easier to detect and you will be banned from participating if you submit them.

Your entries can double for other events and challenges as long they allow it too.

The wind howled against the cabin window, rattling the glass in a way that made Mobius worry whether it would break. A snowstorm raged outside, and Mobius buried himself deeper into his sheets, trying his best to stay warm. The forecast on the radio said that the storm would pass tomorrow evening, so until then, he and his team were trapped.

He rolled over on his side, turning his back to the window, and tried desperately to fight off the sleep that was trying to take hold of him.

The door to his room opened and closed slowly, floorboards creaking as someone made their way in quietly. He smiled into his pillow as he heard a sigh, frustration palpable as another floorboard creaked loudly under their foot.

He lay still, listening to the sound of fabric rustling, then falling to the floor as the bedsheets were lifted and Loki slid in next to him. He wrapped his arm around Mobius’ waist and pulled his back close to his chest.

“You made it,” he murmured.

Loki breathed in sharply. “I thought you were asleep.”

“I nearly was.”

“I’m sorry I kept you waiting,” Loki whispered. “Everyone decided to stay up late playing cards, and I couldn’t sneak past until they all returned to their rooms.”

“That’s ok,” He said, moving his body closer to Loki's, “You’re here now.”

Loki pressed a light kiss on his shoulder and nestled his head into him, his hot breath tickling the hairs at the nape of his neck.

Sleep beckoned him once again. Now that Loki was with him, he let it win. He felt himself begin to drift off. With Loki’s body wrapped close behind his, he felt safe, and he let himself be pulled deeper into the warmth of sleep.

He listened to Loki’s steady breathing behind him and smiled. The sound was comforting. He loved Loki being so close to him.

As much as it pained him to sneak around with Loki, part of him found it thrilling. They had to limit themselves to late evenings, only spending time together in the dark. Sometimes, the sun would bleed through the cracks in the curtain, signifying the start of a new day, and Loki would still be with him, wrapped tightly in his arms. Mobius would look down at the sleeping god and imagine what it would be like to wake up beside him every day for the rest of his life.

He was pulled out of his blissful dream suddenly by the feeling of cold fingers against his stomach. He shivered slightly as Loki rubbed small circles against the skin under his shirt.

“You’re freezing.” He whined.

Loki laughed, blowing more hot air onto his neck. He traced his hands over Mobius’ abdomen gently, his fingers barely touching him. The delicate touch gave him goosebumps.

“Loki, I’m trying to sleep.” He breathed out softer than he wanted.

“And I’ve been waiting all day to touch you,” Loki responded, kissing the back of his neck softly. “Do you know how hard it is to pretend? Not being able to be near you like this.”

“You know that we can’t... You know that I can’t be seen with you. It’s irresponsible of me.”

“Good job I’m irresponsible enough for the both of us,” Loki responded, moving his hand to swipe against his ribs. “Now relax and let me touch you.”

Loki began to move his hand slowly up his body, touching every part of him he could reach. His head felt hazy now for a completely different reason. There was something about the way that Loki’s cold hands felt against his warm skin that made him feel light-headed.

His fingers moved gracefully, leaving goosebumps in their wake. They rubbed gently over his chest, causing him to gasp loudly.

“Be quiet, Mobius.” Loki purred, “The walls are thin; anyone could hear us.”

He could hear the smile on Loki’s lips as he spoke, and he felt dizzier. Loki’s aura was so all-encompassing that he could barely bring himself to care about the others hearing him.

Loki moved so that he was leaning over Mobius’ back; his head rested on his shoulder so that he could see Mobius’ face. He flushed at being observed so closely, and Loki laughed quietly.

His hand travelled down his body now, tracing the line of his waist and landing on his hip. He pushed down his shorts so he could stroke across his thigh before he spread his fingers and grabbed him, squeezing the muscle firmly.

Mobius responded by trying to move himself back into Loki. But Loki’s grip tightened on his thigh, his nails digging into his skin slightly.

“Stay still, Mobius.” He said directly into his ear.  

Mobius shuddered and did as he was told.

Loki continued his exploration of Mobius’ body, never touching him where he needed to be touched the most.

“Stop teasing me.” Mobius groaned. “This isn’t fair!”

Loki laughed darkly and trailed his hand up Mobius’ arm towards his shoulder. He let his hand sit there for a while, seeing how Mobius would react to the stillness.

Mobius felt desperate, a feeling that he often felt when he was around Loki. His touch was somehow too much and not enough at the same time. He needed more; he wanted Loki to leave no part of his body untouched. But he also needed him to stop. Loki alternated between soft, gentle touches and rougher, hungry touches. Just as he got used to one, he’d switch to the other, leaving him disoriented most wonderfully.

“Loki!”

Loki leant over Mobius’ side further, covering most of his body with his.

“Yes?” He smirked.

“I need...”

“You need what, Mobius?”

Mobius huffed in place of an answer. Not knowing if he wanted to ask for more or less.

Loki laughed again and pressed a kiss to his cheek. His hand had reached Mobius’ neck now, his fingertips skimming across his Adam's apple before moving to stroke across his jaw.

More. He needed more.

By the time he decided this, though, Loki had retreated. He settled against Mobius’ back again and rested his hand on his waist gently.

“You need to sleep, Mobius.”

Unbelievable.  

He flipped himself around so that they were face-to-face. Loki’s smile twisted into a smirk as their eyes met, and Mobius growled in frustration. He was such an insufferable tease.

“You’re going to finish what you started, or I’m kicking you out.”

Loki’s eyebrows shot up, and he tried his best to conceal a laugh.

“Shhh!” Mobius reached to slam a hand over Loki’s mouth, but Loki caught it mid-air. He threaded their fingers together and kissed his knuckles soothingly.

“You would never.” He grinned “You want me too much.”

“Do something, or I’ll prove you wrong!”

Loki closed his eyes, pulling their hands close to his chest with a gentle smile.

“No. I don’t think I will.”

👔 clothing adjustment for Lokius :)

Taking this to a place of pure self-indulgence by incorporating a few of my favorite fic tropes: h/c, post-02x01 caretaking, and that dagger harness 🔥 Also took “clothing adjustment” in the direction of adjusting to get the clothing off, but I didn’t think I’d have too many complaints 😉
