Itâd been ages since Lola had seen the inside of Briarcliff. Sure, sheâd found herself peering in from the other side of the gates from time to time over the years, but THIS? It was like she was home. Hanging the last photo she had been holding on the inside of her locker door, the one she had called her own during her first stint at the school, she smiled triumphantly at the small collage of photos she had collected - all of them including her friends from forty years earlier. She couldnât help but hope that they were still there, as more than pixels on a piece of paper. Noticing a few students walking down the hall past her, the once-dubbed social butterfly grinned brightly, shutting her locker door and hurrying to catch up with them; something just felt familiar about them.Â
But, one suddenly stopped, and it made the girl nervous. âSorry, I wasnât like... following you, I thought you were one of my FRIENDS.â She apologized, as the other turned around to reveal their face.
spenceroriley:
Spencer had been out on a stroll for the first time in what felt like ages. Ever since the arrival of the baby, she had spent most of her days locked away downstairs with the toddler. But, Angelica was down for her nap, and she convinced one of the other ghouls to babysit for a few hours, so she could have a moment to herself. Her sister had texted her days earlier, letting her know that she was back on campus, but even then, she didnât expect to see her - let alone run into her. âOoomf.â She sounded, stumbling backwards a few steps until she was flat on her feet again. âLuna?â She mouthed, recognizing the voice before she even matched it to her face.Â
The petite girl felt the wind knock from her frame as she remained on the ground. She hummed softly as she slight pain settle in her behind from hitting the ground so hard. Her eyes were closed as she groaned trying to gather some sort of solid ground again. She kept her eyes squeezed shut, her facial features twisting some as she picked herself off of the ground finally. Once the dizziness settled, her eyes fluttered open, hazel with specs of violet hues zoned in on the other she knocked into. A woman with a similar face as herâŠthe same face as her. âSâŠSpencerâŠâ She whispered, the name sounding so foreign on her tongue. âIâŠoh my godâŠâ she managed before throwing her arms around her sister holding on tight. She knew that by their texts that she probably didnât want to see her just yet and truthfully Luna didnât know how she would feel seeing her dead sister in such a form. That all changed the instant her eyes connected with her sisters. âItâs been so longâŠso so longâŠIâm so sorry okay? IâmâŠsorryâŠâ her chest felt tight as the emotions unintentionally poured out, each fresh wave of emotions hit her like bullets to the chest.Â
Spencer couldnât even translate the mass amount of emotions coursing through her body, as she peered across at her sister. Before she could even try, the girl had her arms wrapped tightly around her, and Spencer couldnât help but do the same, hugging Luna tightly, and pulling her close. âItâs okay, itâs okay.â She murmured, trying to assure the girl that she wasnât angry. She had missed her too much to show her frustration over her sisterâs absence right away. âIâve missed you,â She mumbled, finally pulling away. âWhe-How have you been?â She worried. âIs everything alright?â She was frightened that Luna may have returned for reasons that would leave her worrying through the night.Â
The seemingly youthful witch found herself walking around the grounds. More so just to familiarize herself once more. Things surly changed since the last time she was a presence, all that remained was her sister; who unfortunately was trapped. A soft sigh escaped her lips as she took her even steps, her fingers worked in a beckoning motion while a white feather rotated in her other palmâŠfloating. Her eyes were closed as she focused on the energy around her and the forces that kept the feather afloat. If she had her hazel hues open, she would have noticed the other person she was about to walk into. As her body collided with theirs she stumbled backwards onto her bottom with a huff and thud groaning some. âOuchâŠ.sorry about thatâŠâ She managed. âI should probably walk with my eyes open.â She noted.Â

SMS. Luna x Spencer
Spencer: fair enough. do you have a dorm?
Luna: Yeah, I'm in a single for now. Managed to get in one of the nicer dorm rooms that they have the teachers in.
Spencer: I'm still staying in the lower level. I have my own classroom to myself.
SMS. Luna x Spencer
Spencer: I wish you would have given me a heads up. When did you get back?
Luna: Was I supposed to send a carrier pigeon? I decided to just start over...I got here a few days ago.
Spencer: fair enough. do you have a dorm?
SMS. Luna x Spencer
Luna: Hey...
Luna: So...I'm back at Briarcliff, don't think you knew but...yeah hey.
Spencer: I wish you would have given me a heads up. When did you get back?

âClearly.â She repeated, making herself clear. Truth be told, the idea that somebody else would be interested in Major always bothered Spencer. In her mind, he was herâs, even if he wasnât. From the moment she had gotten pregnant, she grew much fonder of the boy than she ever anticipated. That never changed - no matter how many people stole his attention. âYou at least turned her down, right?â She asked, her tone evident of a twinge of hurt, and jealousy.Â
âNo no, I told a seventeen year old that Iâd love to get a coffee with her sometime. Â Of course I turned her down.â Â Major rolled his eyes and crossed his arms over his chest.
âYou donât have to be an asshole.â She pouted. Sure, she knew he could have been much worse given the opportunity, but Spencer was a little extra sensitive when it came to him. He knew how to push her buttons, and she was much too absorbed with Major to just ignore her feelings, even after so many years. âSo - Is that all you wanted to tell me or, was there, like, something else you wanted?â She just couldnât imagine him drawing out her attention for such a silly comment.
spenceroriley:
âAre you telling me because you want to get a rise out of me, or do you actually think I care?â Sure, Spencer was a little hostile. But, after forty-some years with Major roaming the halls, she couldnât help but feel a little angry that they were still doing the same dance they always had. What did he expect from the girl that lost his child? The girl that had honestly been in love with him when they were still alive?Â
âI donât know, I kind of thought youâd find it funny. Â Clearly I was wrong.â Â major raised his hands in a sarcastically defensive motion and rolled his eyes a little. Â âMy bad.â Â Sure, he hated the way that their relationship had never really seemed to change, even after all this time, but what frustrated him the most was how hostile she was toward him for no apparent reason.

âSo a soon-to-be freshman visiting here just hit on me⊠ Do you have any idea how nasty I feel?â

@spenceroriley: having a baby means casually listening to the tarzan soundtrack on saturday nights. #partynight
âBad habits are hard to break. You talk like that around âer now, youâll never stop.â She huffed, shooting the words right back at him, anger flooding through her being. âYES, Iâm âgonna keep her thenâ, Luca.â Spencer mocked. âIt didnât happen how you might think. I didnât.. I didnât do it on purpose. One minute I was just sitting there, watching this woman take her child forgranted, and the next.. She was.. I.. I was halfway down the street with baby in my hands, and I knew what I had done. I couldnât go back.â She shook her head, holding the baby a little closer to her body. âI messed up, Luca, but..â
,Â
âGood,â he retorted. âYouâre really trying my patience today, and youâre extremely there is a small, living creature in your lap.â Luca hated being mocked, it was the quickest way to bring his temper out. âIt still happened, Spencer, and thatâs the problem. How many times have I told you about how much it irritates me that Beckett wants to do shit like that? And sheâs my sister! So of course Iâm gonna forgive her. So whatâs your excuse?â
âI canât do anything to change it, Luca. What am I supposed to do? Somebody has to take care of her, and why not me? I got myself into this mess. I just.. I thought this would make you happy.â She admitted. âEspecially since Vic passed over. I thought youâd.. want to be a part of this.â She knew that Luca had to have had some sort of grief with Vic, knowing that he was the father of her lost child, so many years ago. But, now he was gone. âI donât have an excuse, Luca. All I can do is promise you that I wonât do it again. I donât want to hurt people.â
Spencer was well enough aware of what Samantha had been getting into. After all, she was closer to Vic than most were. She knew what they had done, and what they had planned to do. So, she wasnât surprised that Charlotte knew as well. It was her sister, after all. âIâm not like her.â She said softly. âIt really was an accident. I didnât.. I didnât want to do what I did, and Iâd take it back, Charlotte.â She explained carefully. âSam might regret it, one day, too.â
âI know.â She murmured, toying with her hands a little. âBut I never thought my sister would do any of that eitherâŠ.and then I saw itâŠ.â Charlotte shook her head and rubbed at her eyes a little. âI donât knowâŠsheâs differentâŠit was like she didnât care that I knew, like she wasâŠproud.â
âCharlotte, believe me when I tell you Iâm not proud of what I did. I stole somebodyâs life, for my own selfish reasons. Every time I look at my daughter, I feel love again, and I wouldnât change that for the world. But this isnât how it was supposed to happen. I know that.â She explained. âSam might find her way back, one day. You never know.â
