LADIES GENTLEMEN AND OTHERS

I HAVE AN IMPORTANT CALL TO ARMS.

There is a 48 hour black-out planned for the 18th of March -> aka sometime in the next day or so depending on your location.

This is in protest of the new notes feature, quite frankly I believe that it is atrocious and I am not afraid to make that known. It is a small action for individuals but it will show Tumblr how much everyone is against this new change and hopefully it'll prompt them to take some action.

I participated in the shapes.inc blackout as much as I was able. I shall be participating in this one too, and I strongly recommend that all my beautiful moots and followers please please please spread the word and join in the blackout.

Guess Who's Finally Back!

Marceline Redacre is the newest hire at the SCP Facility's Site ⬜⬜, intent on uncovering the mysteries behind a rather personal affair. At least, at first... Upon discovering the many faults present within the current system of Ethics within the Committee of the same name, Dr. Redacre elects to instate a new and improved Ethics Committee, dedicated to ensuring the well-being and mental wellness of all the anomalies that she can reach with the program. However, it's safe to say, all of this is endlessly easier said than done, and it seems endless work awaits her should she wish to get what she wants. Marceline, of course, is nothing if not determined, and it will take endless more than sneers and unhelpful co-workers to bring her hopes down.

Chapter 2: The King's Gambit

Following the news of yesterday's meeting, Dr. Everett King decided to request Dr. Redacre's appearance in his office for an abrupt discussion surrounding her new assignment.

After nearly two years of dormancy and struggles, I have finally managed to write chapter two of Red Letter Day, an older work of mine that depicts one of my ocs, Marceline Redacre, throughout her tenure at an SCP site as she attempts to put her ideas of a new and improved ethics committee into place. I've had a lot of things happening in my life throughout this time, both good and bad, but I couldn't be happier with myself for being able to sit down and write like this again with a story I have never stopped thinking about. In addition, I feel as through my writing has improved at least marginally from the last chapter I made, so it's a lovely surprise on all fronts! I really hope you enjoy reading this as much as I enjoyed writing it, and here's to next time! Lovely day to you all!

Have been wanting to draw a lil something with these two for a while again so here they are!

Early on into Dr. Redacre's tenure at the foundation and her being forced to work with Cleff with regards to the well-being of SCP-166, the two didn't exactly get along. Indeed, Dr. Cleff seemed to go out of his way to annoy and antagonize Redacre at a moment's notice, doing everything he could to get under her skin once she made it clear that she wasn't afraid of him or any threats he may try to come up with.

As such, this situation depicts Cleff having drank an entire hot, fresh pot of coffee in the break room as soon as he heard that Marceline was coming by to get some before the start of her shift. He may or may not have also eaten the coffee grounds that were stored away, but he'll never tell~!

Marceline, on her part, is about ready to strangle the man, only stopping due to a desire to be the bigger person in this scenario. Gods, if it isn't tempting though!

So the Youtube boycott starts tomorrow, and the biggest issue people have (including me) is a YouTube addiction.

Now, maybe addiction ain’t quite the right word, I don’t think I’m gonna get any YouTube Withdrawls or anything, but I watch a lot of YouTube and it’s gonna be hard to stop so suddenly.

SO HERE’S SOME TIPS !!!!!

Find YouTube alternatives! There are indeed other video sharing platforms you can use. (Glomble!!)

If you have a streaming service, start watching a really long show. I use YouTube for background noise, but a TV show could do the same thing.

Listen to music somewhere else! Spotify and Pandora and Audiomack are all nice. Spotify kind of sucks actually, but it’s there if you need it, y’know?

Use your newfound free time to invest in a hobby! Start learning to cook! Go to the library! Start sewing or crocheting!

Use your newfound free time to get a workout routine (if you are able to work out.) Go on walks! Get a gym membership if you want!

Play more video games. Obviously many people can’t afford the Cool Games, but there’s always Roblox !!! Or like. Candy Crush !!! Idk !!!!

Yeah, boycotting YouTube is gonna be hard, but it’s absolutely worth it in the name of anti-censorship-ness. People might try to tell you “it won’t do anything” but that is STUPID! Don’t give up! Boycott for as long as you can! It may be hard to stop watching YouTube when you feel so dependent on it, but you have the power to do it.

Even if the boycott doesn’t work, I don’t want to support a company that makes decisions like this, and I definitely don’t want to have a mental dependency on a social media platform. This is your chance to stop.

this doesn’t do it justice!!! look at this beast! i went to see it a year ago and its a phenomenal experience, 10/10!!

it lights up and everything, all the different parts are making noises - like there’s classical music AND rock music layering over each other, old talk shows and just radio static! god i love babel so much!

and what’s even better is that the higher up you go, the more modern the machines get - like it’s old radios at the bottom and iphones/ipods at the top and they ALL still make noise like can you IMAGINE
