Is it really like this in America? Where I live they will close the till at closing time and force you out the door if you’re not smart enough to leave shamefaced of your own volition.

I live in the UK and its like this where i work. We are told we are not allowed to turn any customers away unless the doors are locked and we can’t lock the doors til exactly closing time. There is always 1 or 2 customers who walk in 3 or 4 minutes before closing and proceed to do a full shop and take their time with it. Its not unusual to finish 20 mins late.
