I'm going to say something that might piss some people off, and if you're one of those people, this post is for you.
There is a line in shipping real people - a line between public and private spaces. There's an unwritten rule that you ship on dedicated platforms, i.e. tumblr, ao3, discord, etc.
There's been an outrageous uptick in tagged content on instagram, twitter, and tiktok of aggressive shipping – and people wonder why we don't get fresh content anymore?
There's a line between having a fan account and tagging these guys in slow mo, romantic, shippy reels every five seconds.
All I'm saying is lets respect the boundaries and keep our shipping to the appropriate spaces. These guys are real people with real lives and real relationships - sure, they're in the public eye so there's a level of this that they open themselves up to, but let's not be those people.
Okay, rant over. Ship responsibly, people 🤍
