Happy International Women’s Day! Big ups if you are participating in the Day Without a Woman Strike. I drew this little doodle commemorating Pauli Murray and Eleanor Roosevelt since I’m reading The Firebrand and the First Lady, which is about their friendship over their civil rights activism. Yes, Eleanor Roosevelt was an ardent civil rights advocate! I majored in poly-sci and yet I did not know this. Stupid public schools. It was thanks to her that the Tuskegee airmen were allowed to fly in combat at all. She got in one of their planes and was like, “see ya later secret service! Hey, take my picture.” And that did it.
Doing some article illustrations for a lifestyle website. This one's about how to bond after destroying an all-you-can-eat buffet on the first date. (No, not really.)
MICHELLE FOREVER.
We got this! (I hope.) *BREATHES INTO PAPER BAG*
>_<
First digital eye painting!
I feel like this look generally sums up the experience of being a woman in today’s society.

For business purposes.
Yes.
First digital painting attempt! Already in love with this medium. :D *Drawn in Adobe Photoshop with my Surface Pro4*
A doodle of an actual dream I had, after reading about the 18 carat gold toilet at the Guggenheim. Sleeping is fun. :)
Awww yiss, my River Song sonic screwdriver & diary drawing on a zipper pouch! I’m so thrilled with how well my artwork came out on these! And BEYOND THRILLED to hear they make the perfect clutch for cosplaying River herself!! :D
I like drawing commissioned head shots and want to do more, so I put together this small collection of sample portraits. Just some corporate execs tooling around the office. I was like, “hey, lemme draw you” and they were like, “sure why not.” The big blond hunk was like, “wait let me do hair first.” Best day ever, diary.
Hello, cat fren. What are you looking at. Is there another spider up there?
A card for your lady friend who’s doing big, brave things.
High five to all the dads out there who inspire their daughters to wonder, ask great questions, and science the hell out of the answers!
Norwegian Forest Cats are the best. They look so cuddly! But ironically, they don’t like being cuddled. So you’ll have to settle for snuggling them with your eyes. And that is why I have prints of this painting available. ;)
A little sketchbook doodle I did after reading Jane Steele (by Lindsay Faye) :D
