that's the usual cooldown notice for when your A Jaunt in the Waswood quality has left. Usually (as in, any time that isn't this Estival) Waswood will only host 2 stories at a time for a week, and you can only play one of them. Doing so will give you the quality, which locks you from playing any more Waswood stories for a week. Once the week is up you receive a notification, like Time the Healer, in your messages.

None of the Estival replays in the Waswood should be giving you this quality right now, nor would that be impacted by it if you had it already.

Dunno what gave it to you in this case.

Fallen London is sooooo funny because rn I'm supposed to become the governor of a colony and build a submarine and I was renowned for writing plays and novels in the Empress's court until I was exiled in disgrace and I was also briefly a university professor in the field of Eldritch Bullshit until I got fired for solving a murder in a way that was inconvenient to university politics and two different devils want to fuck me steal my soul so bad it makes them look stupid but at the end of the day my actual legal job is. rat catcher 🐀

got really into drawing themed food at some point. here's something for my favorite ambition

commentary below the cut (spoilers)

the cake is a medovik, a type of honey cake. the reference here should be obvious. this one also has seven layers

flavorwise the honey and sour cream is completemented by blackberry jam, totally not symbolic of the blood of your loved one

the purple shards are edible sugar glass. they represent knifegate and the mirror you repair. there's also edible petals because that's the clue you pursue at the very start of the ambition

the knife is a sky/ravenglass knife but like. normal and for cake. i toned down the color to be closer to rl obsidian

the plate is silver. i couldn't be bothered adding engravings to it. it'd be something floral
