September 6, 2025 - In a powerful moment, a massive crowd in Mexico City chanted Palestina libre,” meaning “Free Palestine,” back-to-back during Puerto Rican rapper Residente’s free concert at the Zócalo on Saturday. The rapper dedicated the night to resistance, peace and solidarity, inviting onstage members of the Abed family, Palestinian refugees from Gaza now living in Mexico.
