I finally have access to internet after 70+ days of internet block out at the hands of the Islamic Republic of Iran (yes, the same one you first-world country people are so eager to defend).
You have been brainwashed and you don't even know it. Do you have the slightest idea what it feels like to be cut off from the rest of the world? Yet you defend our oppressors.
Where are the "human rights" activists now? Are we not human enough for you?
Fuck your fake morality.
Over 80 days of internet shutdown in Iran
Bought an expensive config tunnel to connect to the internet and come up here :)
We need to talk about the false narrative around the Iranian people’s revolution.
Some Western leftist media/ figures refuse to support the ongoing revolution in Iran because they believe regime change would benefit the US and Israel. But what if I told you it benefits Iranian people?
We are against the Islamic regime. We want secularism. That is the one thing uniting everyone in the streets. We come from different backgrounds and groups, and we may have different visions for Iran’s future, but we are united against this regime.
This is not new. We have risen up before — in 2009, 2019, 2022, and many times before that.
The Islamic regime has killed more people in three days than Israel has killed in twelve days in Iran. You must understand: the Islamic regime is the enemy of Iranian people too. This regime is killing people to survive, accusing protestors of being connected to Israel or the US, while they are all Iranians demanding freedom.
It has been almost two days the internet was cut off in Iran. The last time this happened, during the bloody November of 2019, the regime killed 1,500 people within 3 days in silence.
Please do not fall for the regime’s narrative. This is a people’s revolution.
i don't know if you've posted about this yet but two trans men were murdered in iran https://bsky(.)app/profile/tdorinfo.bsky.social/post/3mdpefoepz22h
Link to the post.
With how much of the protests in Iran are tied to patriarchy, this feels extremely important to talk about.
So that’s how it feels to actually have a flag you’re proud of :’)

Trying to advocate for the people of Iran in the last 4 years feels like shouting into the void. Being Iranian feels so lonely.
If there's one thing I learned from this, it is that in times like this is when you know who your real friends are and who your mutuals are. What hurts even more is knowing you did show up for them in times when it mattered and what you're getting back is silence.
I'm never ever looking at my so-called mutuals the same ever again. I won't forget who remained silent and couldn't show up. They'll get nothing from me ever again, no acknowledgment whatsoever.
Tens of thousands of Iranians died. And the world remains silent because apparently human rights are conditional and based on social currency.
We lower our eyes at the gift of breath,
For living feels like treason beside their death.
The streets still hum where their laughter fell,
Now stained with secrets no power can quell.
They spoke of freedom, simple and bare,
And bullets answered their cruel prayer.
Young hearts were louder than iron command,
So fear took aim with a merciless hand.
Hope wore no armor, no shield, no lie,
Yet tyrants trembled and taught it to die.
We walk on mornings they never knew,
Each sunrise aching, obscene, untrue.
And still; oh still in our blood they stay,
A stubborn fire that won’t obey.
Let shame turn sharp, let memory rise,
For nations are born when the fearless die...

don’t get me wrong I am also perpetually awkward and socially inept, but nothing makes me curl into myself more than rewatching broadchurch and seeing alec be an absolute mess. sorry alec. you’re such a disaster.
If they were roommates,What do you think might happen??🤔

Im never tagged in these despite being a huge alec, tenth doctor and crowly fan but whatever.
I think crowly and the doctor would get along quite well and cause a lot of chaos. Dragging Phileas et alec around.
Crowley would order a lot of take away
10 would bring food from alien planets
Hardy would cook normal foods. Maybe bring daisy around time to time.
Aziraphale and ellie visit regularly, as does the rotating gaggle for ten. They'd visit too.
Phileas would be with alec learning how to cook and not being too good at it. But trying.
Mostly I just see alec and phileas trying to be normal while ten is chaotic and probably on a leash held by crowly whos driving the bentlt wildly down the street with 10 in the air like a kite. Alec sighing and phileas looking terrified
Picturing this just gave me so much joy and comfort 🫠✨️
Stuck in 1969
not sorry, but i can't even begin to imagine zira and crowley's relationship being something else other than asexual.
they are the hold hands, kiss on the cheek, cuddly hugs and quality time/parallel playing kind of couple that will tilt their head in confusion when you ask them about the sex™️.
