WHY DID I MAKE THIS
WHY DID I MAKE THIS
i hate myself
New Moon (2009)
everyday I wake up and think about how Jacob said "I'm gonna fight for you, until your heart stops beating." and then he did. the implication was he'd fight for her until she became a vampire with an unbeating heart, but when still-human Bella's heart stopped beating as she died on that table, he stopped fighting. he gave up and walked away, hopeless, leaving Edward alone as he forced her dead heart to beat and change her, to save her. Jacob said he'd fight for her until her heart stopped beating and then he did
also don’t think it slipped my notice that meyer was like “yes the boys in the pack are mostly 17-14 but their bodies as actually mature adult bodies” like what the fuck… I’m just saying she made her own supernatural lore and so she CHOSE the extremely anti-native connotations she was playing with. like you can’t convince me that people are “reading too deep” into things when her werewolf lore is literally “this (real) tribe of native men turn into monstrous animals with uncontrollable violent impulses which make them a danger to women. also, despite the fact that almost all of them are underage, they have the bodies of fully grown men. also I’m going to give one of them a scene of non-consensual physical contact with our main white heroine so my white hero can swoop in to save her” like it’s so blatantly disgusting, and people who are like “oh it wasn’t intentional” bro that’s literally just as bad, in that case she had those things in her subconscious and didn’t bother to examine her biases at all before co-opting a real peoples name and culture what part of that is not clicking for you
So obsessed with the version of Twilight I made up in my head and and am constantly disappointed when the actual series isn't that
Been making twilight memes today
Nobody asked for these, but who am I to deny the world of what we really need
Felix and I are making these into Christmas cards
I'm back! Welcome to pre bella lunchtimes with the Cullen kids!
i'm the normalest guy on the planet btw. #normalboy #normalcore #boynormal #normalguythings
so like……..if jacob hadn’t thought that snide comment abt bella drinking human blood to feed renegade and help keep bella from fucking dying, were any of the alleged geniuses in the cullen family even gonna come remotely close to a solution……………..
fluffy wolves
i love (and hate) how googling smeyer’s husband explains everything about the twilight saga.
he proposed on their SECOND DATE…she said no, and he proposed OVER 40 TIMES before she said yes
“The Cullens aren’t racist! They just hate werewolves. That’s why they call them DOGS.”
But why?
The reason why I can’t get behind the Cullens is because they literally have NO reason to hate the pack. First of all, the Cullens treaded on THEIR land, when hey could’ve simply went ANYWHEREEEE else. These mfs can live under water if they wanted to. Forks is not the only wet and green place in America, and especially in the world. Secondly, the pack literally does not affect them in any way, as opposed to the Cullens, who’s presence affects the entire tribe, especially the ones with the wolf gene. Thirdly, they’re not even fucking werewolves, so you’re argument is invalid from the start.
If not racist intent, what the hell was Stephanie Meyer trying to do? Like has anyone ever asked this woman, face to face, what THE HELL was she thinking about putting this dynamic into her series? By putting in a REAL—not fake—tribe in her book series, changed their history and stories, and made them into werewolves. And THEN added these white ass vampires and created this “rivalry” and forced this treaty. OH but surprise surprise, they’re not even fucking werewolves! SO WHAT WAS THE POINTTTTT.
I am legit upset by the incompetence of her writing. She writes it as if we should dislike Jacob and the pack by writing them as dangerous, aggressive, etc, but then turns around and says, “No no, you shouldn’t hate them. Jacob is actually one of my favorite characters.” THIS WOMAN IS INSANE.
