Indulge in the heavenly combination of moist yellow cupcakes and creamy Nutella buttercream frosting. These cupcakes are perfect for special occasions or whenever you're craving a sweet treat.
Ingredients: 1 and 1/2 cups all-purpose flour. 1 and 1/2 teaspoons baking powder. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened. 1 cup granulated sugar. 2 large eggs. 1 and 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract. 1/2 cup whole milk. 1/2 cup Nutella. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, room temperature. 2 cups powdered sugar. 2 tablespoons heavy cream. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Pinch of salt. Chocolate sprinkles for decoration optional.
Instructions: Warm up the oven to 350F 175C and put paper liners in a cupcake pan. Mix the flour, baking powder, and salt together in a bowl with a whisk. Put away. Melt the butter and mix it with the sugar in another bowl until the mixture is light and fluffy. One at a time, add the eggs and beat well after each one. Add the vanilla extract and mix well. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ones, mixing them in with the milk every so often. Start with the dry ingredients and end with the milk. Don't mix any further than that. Fill up about two thirds of the way to the top of each cupcake liner with the batter. In a hot oven, bake for 18 to 20 minutes, or until a toothpick stuck in the middle comes out clean. Let the cupcakes cool all the way down on a wire rack after taking them out of the oven. Put the Nutella, butter that has been at room temperature, powdered sugar, heavy cream, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt in a different bowl. Beat the mixture until it is smooth and creamy. After the cupcakes have cooled down completely, add the Nutella buttercream frosting to each one either by pipe or spread method. If you want, you can decorate with chocolate sprinkles. Enjoy your Yellow Cupcakes with Nutella Buttercream Frosting after you're done making them.
