Most of you don't want to be evil. Most of you just grew up seeing queer-coded villains in cartoons that expressed themselves against capitalism and the patriarchy, because that was what society wanted to show as evil.

And you rightfully went the other way instead and decided you would fight for what's right even if it made you the "villain". They teached you, even as a child, that if you wanted to stand up for yourself you would have to be labeled "evil". You're not.

Because real Evil isn't some flamboyant gay villain showing sexist they better respect women. Real Evil is boring, it's people that have given up on being nice. People that don't worry about doing the right thing anymore.

Jack of all trades

you know what? I think I'm a Jack of all trades, kinda..

So I'm not actually really good at something, I don't have a specialty and I'm not known for anything I do or am, not really. But, and I think realising that and coming to terms with it has helped me a lot, I have a lot of abilities that I'm semi good at. Like I would probably have a hard timee sewing or knitting you a pullover, but nonetheless I actually can sew and knit. I was never the best in any of my subjects, but I also had non were I went below average. I am not good at riding, swimming, batminton, or sailing, but it should be impressive enough that I know how to do all of those, even if just a little.

what I really like about the Magnus Archives fanart is that most of the characters, if not all, never actually fit the common beauty stereotypes. Like John is pretty much always presented as a scared, disheveled, basement goblin. I have yet to see a Melanie that didn't look like she died while being attacked by emo teens and those are just the ones I dared to describe. But despite that, all of them just look so, so beautiful. Fanart of Martin making tea? Gorgeous. Basira and Daisy on a date? I never felt so satisfied. ANYTHING from Michael in his weird little door-demon state or before? I am ready to die now. Thank you all, for creating these little masterpieces. And remember, if you're making fanart, then it's already good fanart
