He nodded his head a bit as she spoke before shrugging, trying to find the words he needed to explain why he didn’t like commitment. “I don’t see how it works. I don’t think people are meant to be tied down.  I mean, staying with just one person.. It feels wrong. Maybe stay for a little while if they are really interesting, but things get stale. Besides, someone always strays and cheats. Being with someone is like a business agreement, I think. Two people get together ‘cause they need something from each other then they split. Take marriage for an example. It’s a joke really. I’ve seen my mom standing before family and friends vowing her undying love more times than I could count. It’s a load of crap.” Truthfully, Kai probably had never seen a healthy relationship in his life.

"I don't think you're right. You're right about some things but not everything. There are a lot of unhealthy relationships but they are also some that are perfect. That can love each other for years without getting bored. My parents for example my dad moves all around the world and my mom follows because she loves the man. Even when the troubles with me started they stayed together. And to be honest that is one of the only thing that's right and stable in my life. So commitment is for some people perfect." She sighed she just hopes he doesn't ask more, maybe he is her husband but telling her life story isn't what she needs right now.

Kai smiled brightly and shrugged. “Eh, same shit that got me kicked out of my last school.” He wasn’t in the mood to be getting into details and instead nodded his head as he listened to her, breathing out a small sigh. “I doubt I will learn much.. Except about how much it sucks to be married -No offense. Marriage isn’t my thing. Neither is commitment or love for that matter. Not that they are asking for love. It’s all a myth.” And thus began his rambling before Kai had the sense to shut his mouth, his expression becoming slightly sheepish as he did so.

"Some people need to spend a lot of time with people they normal don't see. So some couples learn from each other. I must agree with you on that, but why don't you do commitment? For some people it seems to be the solution to everything." She felt like Kai and her are so different but so a like at least the fact that they both hate to talk about themself in detail for starters.

The boy listened carefully as she spoke, nodding his head though he thought this whole program was absurd. He didn’t like the idea of it, but she seemed like a nice enough girl. “Right… Okay.. Does this source of income have to be legal? Probably does.. School program… Do you think this is ridiculous or is it just me?”

She laughed a small nervous laugh. "What sort of illegal income did you think off? But I guess so, the school probably checks it. Of course it's ridiculous but since the last month I wasn't involved I just wachted from the outside I really think some people learn a bit from this. It's still ridiculous of course maybe even unhumane but nothing we can do."

Kai nodded his head, a small frown tugging on his lips as he studied her. “Oh, right.. Almost forgot about that. No need to apologize. I might be. Don’t know yet… I didn’t really pay attention when they explained it to me actually. So, like, how does this work?”

"Well okay, when I transferred I was told that the new guy would be my partner because for now they were more girls than boys. And since you're are the new guy I'm guessing that you're my partner. The rules are just that we need to spend time together and have some sort of income. Tres facile." She cursed he old speaking habits, the french would never leave her vains.

Uh.. Is that how you greet all the new guys or are you going to go all Misery on me in a second? I would appreciate it if you warn me before you hobble me.

Mostly I just say hi. But I just meant like the program partner. Like we marry a student. I didn't had a partner so when you came around I assume you will be my parent. Sorry I guess.

"Well, this should be fun," Kai muttered to himself as he took a much needed drag of his cigarette and glanced around the new territory. He gave himself two weeks tops in this shit hole before something either burned down or he was forcibly removed from the grounds. He didn’t like staying in one place too long anyway, and hell.. At least it was warm-ish.

I really hope we're going to see a opera in the old arena and visit the balcony of Romeo and Julliet. I love going back to Europe. But still have to pack a lot of things.
