A/N: I had a request about this quite a long time ago now. But only recently have I gotten the motivation to write it. Hope you like it lovely. Sorry it took so long. And thank you for the compliment 🤍
Hi!! About the Legolas x reader requests, could you do one in which the reader is a female elf, part of the fellowship, and Legolas helps her braid her hair? If it has fluff in it, it would be amazing😍 Also I really like your blog, it's awsome!!🤩
600 words.
Y/H/C: your hair color.
Requests: Open. Masterlist
Summary: Legolas braids your hair as he is madly in love with you.
You were a beautiful elf. Everyone you crossed admired your beauty. Many men wanted you for themselves, but you were already taken. You had fallen in love with Legolas. The elven prince. He didn’t just love you for your beauty on the outside, but for on the inside as well. And you were the same with him. You two were inseparable. Nothing could possibly tear you apart from each other, and over the years, others realized that and craved the love you two had for each other.
-
You had long Y/H/C and Legolas always loved to braid it. You’d braid Legolas’ hair as well. He secretly liked when you would play with his hair. But he’d never tell you that.
-
You were sitting in Legolas’ giant room on his bed, waiting for him to come back from his day of training.
You played with your dress. It was a light blue, off the shoulder gown. It had little silver flowers littered at the waist.
-
Not long after, Legolas walked into the room. He noticed you sitting on his bed and smiled.
You examined him. God he was beautiful. He was the most handsome elf you had ever laid your eyes on. And he was all yours.
He came to sit beside you. “Hello my love.” He said, as he kissed your shoulder.
“Hello love.” You replied, smiling at him.
He stroked a strand of your hair out of your face to get a better view. He smiled at you. Looking at every inch of your face. Almost as if he was memorizing you.
“You’re so beautiful.” He whispered, as if talking to himself. You blushed and looked down. “Thank you.” You said.
“How was your day?” You asked.
He sighed. “It’s over now.” He said.
That meant something went wrong today, you could tell he didn’t want to talk about it, so you didn’t push to figure it out.
He was here now. That’s all that mattered.
Legolas started playing with your hair, he was twirling it around in his fingers, and softly stroking it.
“Can I braid your hair?” He asked. You smiled and nodded your head yes.
You moved so your back was turned to him, so he could have better access to all of your hair.
He softly gathered all of your hair together and loosely braided your hair.
“All done.” He said, as he placed both of his hands on your shoulders and was messaging them lightly.
You were almost falling asleep at the touch of Legolas. He was so gentle, and his hands were so soft.
“Mmm.” You mumbled.
He smiled looking at your face to see your eyes closed.
He moved to lean against the headboard of his bed. He pulled you in, so you were sitting in between his legs with your back to his chest.
He moved your braid so it went along the one side of you.
He continued to message your shoulders as you slowly fell asleep against him.
Once he had noticed you drifted off to sleep, he wrapped his arms around the front of you.
“You’re so beautiful.” He whispered, kissing the top of your head.
Legolas was absolutely in love with you. He could have the worst day ever, but the second he saw you; everything was fine again. He could never love anything or anyone in this world as much as he loves you.
You were his and he was yours. You would always be, for a very very long time. Always and forever.

I wonder if people will ever say, “Let’s hear about Frodo and the Ring.” And they’ll say, “Yes, that’s one of my favourite stories. Frodo was really courageous, wasn’t he, Dad?” “Yes, m'boy, the most famousest of hobbits. And that’s saying a lot.”
You and Legolas were cleaning one of the rooms in the castle. You had a vase and were dusting off the table it was on, when you accidentally lost control and dropped it. “Shoot” You said as you bent down and started picking up the glass pieces. “Ow” You gasped, as you accidentally cut your hand on one of the pieces. Legolas stopped what he was doing and was over at your side within a second. “Here let me see.” He said as he reached for your hand. You pulled away. “No, no, it’s ok.” you said. “Y/N I can see the blood on your hand, let me see it.” He said, reaching for you again. You showed him your hand so he could inspect the cut. He went and got a wet cloth and wiped away the blood, then used a bandage to cover it up. “There you go, all better.” He said. He put his hand up straight and you did the same. Hands touching like you were comparing sizes. “Your hands are so small!” He gasped. You giggled. It had been a while since you saw Legolas amazed with something. He played with your hand. Grabbing your hand in his, it fit perfectly. As you were watching him play with your hand you had not realized that eventually his attention from your hand had drawn to your face. He analysed your reaction. Smiling to himself as he watched you blush when he grabbed your hand in his. You looked at him and noticed he had been watching you. You immediately blushed and looked away. He laughed lightly. “I love how red you get whenever you realize that I’m looking at you.” he said. “Why do you look at me?” you asked out of curiosity. You were the only human there, he was surrounded by many pretty Elf women, why would he be looking at you? You wondered. “Because I have never seen anyone quite as beautiful as you.” He said. “W-what?” You stuttered, “You think I’m beautiful? Legolas you look like you were sculpted by the gods, how could I, a human possibly be beautiful to you?” You asked him. “You don’t need to be an elf to look like you were sculpted by the gods.” He said. “I mean everything about you is perfect. Your lips, your beautiful eyes, my god even the size of your hands!” He said, as he squeezed your hand, earning a laugh from you. “I want to spend the rest of my life with you.” He said. “How could we possibly do that? I’m human, I can’t live as long as you.” You asked. “We will find a way, my love” He said, as he kissed your hand.
Legolas was teaching you how to shoot a bow and arrow.
“Stand up straight. Legs apart. Pull the string closer to the side of your face.” He said. No matter how many times he said it, you still couldn't get the hang of it.
“Here, let me just-” He said, as he came to stand right next to you. He put one hand on your waist and the other on the middle of your back to make you stand straight and when you did, he let go. He moved his hand on top of the one used to hold the string and brought it to the perfect spot beside your face, the other holding the bow to keep it in the spot you had it at. He was pressed close to you, as he was looking at the angle where the arrow would hit to make sure it would hit where it was supposed to.
You stood still as you liked him being this close to you. You looked up at him and watched as he was focused on making sure your first shot would be perfect. He looked stunning when he was focused on something, being an elf just added to his beauty.
“Y/N?” You heard. You snapped out of your gaze, “Mhm?” you asked. “What were you thinking about?” He asked, smiling at you. “Oh, uh, nothing.” You said, pretending to be focused on the target in front of you. “Really? Because you were staring at me for the past 5 minutes and didn’t answer till the fourth time I said your name.” He said with a smirk plastered on his face. You went pitch red, forgetting you were holding the bow, you let go of the string. The arrow hit dead center of the target. “Perfect.” He whispered. You looked over at him and couldn’t tell if he was talking about your shot or something else because he was staring at you.
He leaned closer into you. “You know, if you were thinking about me you could have just said it.” He whispered. “I-” You went to argue with him, but you were stopped with his lips pressing into yours. When he pulled away you smiled. “Ok, maybe I was.” You said, blushing. “You should teach me how to shoot a bow and arrow more often.” You giggled. “You can count on it” He said, pressing his lips back to yours.

Summary: Legolas has been acting weird around you, it was when he was getting down on one knee that you realized why.
There was a grand feast in Mirkwood tonight, Legolas and I were to attend. Everyone was celebrating the destruction of the ring. All of the evil had been destroyed.
We were all gathered around the huge table, Legolas had been acting weird tonight, avoiding me a bit. I noticed him talking a lot with Aragorn, even he was acting a bit different around me. I tried not to dwell on it too much.
While we were eating dinner Legolas clicked his glass cup with his fork and stood up. “I’ve been wanting to do this for a while now, but I’ve never found the perfect place to do it, until I realized there is no perfect place, it’s the perfect person” he said, looking over at me. That was when he started kneeling to the ground beside me. My mouth fell open watching him “Y/F/N Y/L/N will you do me the extraordinary honour of marrying me?” He said and pulled out a beautiful sapphire ring. I could feel the tears of happiness racing down my face, “Yes!” I yelled and jumped into his arms hugging him. Everyone around us cheered. He stood up twirling the both of us. He buried his face into the crook of my neck with all my hair. “No measure of time will be long enough with you, but let’s start with forever.” He whispered. We had many many years ahead of us. Forever sounded perfect as long as it was with him.

This is nothing but pure mush, it’s sickening XD - From Legolas’ Point of View - it’s short and quick -
[WARNINGS] Sickenly romantic - Spoilers? - mentions of Death -
Legolas watched you from afar. He was attending a secret gathering at Rivendell when he first laid eyes on you, and that was it, that was all he needed to fall head over heels for you, he watched as you tended to flowers in the garden, even though they weren’t yours, he listened as you talked in such a soft angelic tone to the hobbits, comforting and cheering them up. He hadn’t even spoken to you, even though he had been in your company. They say elves fall quickly, and deeply when they meet ‘the one’ he had always believed it was an exaggeration, even after Tauriel fell for that dwarf, he wasn’t completely sold on it, not until you. There was one problem though. You were human. Legolas knew his father would never allow it, hell, he doubted his father would like him being friends with you. Aragorn was, of course, an exception.
It wouldn’t be so bad though, he would otherwise never see you again had you not been one of the volunteers for this long quest. Legolas would be travelling with you for months, that concerned him.
As the weeks passed he found himself being drawn to you, he would often sit with you, sometimes in silence, sometimes he would answer your many questions, he noticed his gaze would linger on you more often than not. Aragorn noticed it too, but he was a good friend, he never brought it up, never made him feel uncomfortable, though Aragorn did point out how protective he as of you, should you stumble in the woods he would be the first to help, you were quite clumsy even for a human.
More weeks passed, more fluttering sensations in the pit of his stomach, but things were intensifying now, becoming dangerous. When he spotted the spies from Isengard, his first reaction was to check on you as he and everyone hid. On the mountain when the avalanche happened, he dragged Gandalf out of the way to safety, though his mind was on you and you were the first person he helped out was you. During the trek through The Mines of Moria, Legolas stuck to your side like glue, he knew his priority should really have been Frodo and the ring. The dwarves had died somehow.
Legolas loved witnessing your childlike wonder when you travelled through the Mithril mines, and the halls, with their ridiculously tall pillars. He had met a few humans in his time, but none like you. None with curiosity for the world, both yours and others. When things started going south, and the ogre came. His stomach twisted with worry, but he knew you could easily handle yourself, you were an amazing, strong, skilled warrior. He felt proud of you when any time, you fought and won. When everyone fled, he often checked behind him, to see if everyone was okay, but again his priority was you.
After Gandalf’s death, he was at a loss, his emotions betrayed him, but it wasn’t until Lothlorien did he act upon it. When he noticed you had wandered off on your own, he went in search for you, worried about you and when he found you standing alone, his first reaction was to put his arms around you, it wasn’t something elves did, but he knew that humans liked hugs, he knew it was a way of comforting and hoped it would help you. It did.
When you pulled away and smiled at him, the way you gazed at him, did something to him, all composure and etiquette flew out the window, he moved into the kiss, slow edging towards you and when you were the one to close the gap, he felt his heart sore, it was like he was floating. Everything that had happened around him leading up to now was a distant memory all his senses were focused on you, the feel of his hands on your back, the warmth of your hands around him, the sound of your heartbeat, the smell of fresh flowers that followed you, but most importantly the touch of your lips against his own, human or not, he wasn’t letting go, no matter what his father said.
He loved you and there was nothing anyone could do to change that.
