Steve Louis Performing Live At Drom (Major Stage) 11/14/17
Versatility in an artist is what's winning right now, and Steve Louis is coming with an array of talents. Nov 14, 2017 Steve Louis and a list of other acts such as KunD, Cilla, and SEDA took the stage at Drom, New York, for "Soul Good" by Major Stage. Soul Good is an event by Major Stage set to capture soulful and rhythmic tunes from artist and deliver them to the audience in a captivating and edgy experience. The venue was setup cafe style with tables and chairs for the audience to sit and order food and drinks. People ordered things like BBQ wings and calamari while the show took place.
KunD was first to hit the stage and his style is something I've never seen from the new artist of today, I felt like I was watching a modern day 80s/70s type of soulful act, with relatable lyrics but a singing style that takes you back to another era of music.
I keep it honest, i didn't expect so much soul and vocal power to come from the next act, Cilla, I was beautifully surprised. Cilla blew me and my friends away with her stellar vocals and soulful swing. Cella even incorporated rap lyrics in her act which certainly makes her an artist to be on the look out for.
Next to the stage was SEDA, who is a natural star. He commanded the stage and audience attention with his Latino soul style music that had everyone moving and swaying their hips to the beats. Can't forget to mention his taste in fashion, his shoes and button up combination was very stylish.
Steve Louis was last to hit the stage, you know what they say, save the best for last right? What made Steve stand out from the other artist is that he had his keyboard and laptop on stage and was mixing and playing the beats while performing at the same time! Steve's music is very dramatic and upbeat, which he uses r&b vocals and infuses hiphop lyricism. His song "Party Girl " certainly showcases that. He then brought me on to the stage to perform our song "Kiss Me" which now has 14,000 plays on Spotify. It's unbelievable how steve can play the keys and keep up with his vocals all at the same time. I kept up the vibe as well with my part of the song and the crowd loved it. Major stage is keeping the musician community alive with their consistent showcases and I urge everyone to check out these artist music and look into attending the next major stage event!
