i know that the reasoning they put in comics is that dicks parents called him dick bc english is not their native language and they didn’t know that dick is slang for penis and whatever, but consider his parents actually know full well what dick meant and they called him dick on purpose (lovingly) bc he was a difficult baby (lovingly) and it stuck, but they couldn’t just tell him that so they lied about not knowing

bc i do just think that is infinitely funnier

And Eddie is palefaced as a memory of taking the quiz on the family computer late at night and getting 'gay' before taking it again, getting 'straight' (now that he knew the answers) and deleting his browser history before running to his room.
