I seriously cannot tell if my expectations for fanfiction writers writing skills are too high since AO3, if I’m just not looking in the right places or if Wattpad has just genuinely gone to shit 😐

Idk Ive read so many fanfics on AO3 that I’m having trouble finding anymore good ones within my fandoms and every single fic I’ve read on Wattpad the past few years are so badly written that I can’t get through the first chapter half the time.

Is this just me??

I NEED a Fanfic where it’s the final battle against Hawkmoth where it’s just a bunch of akumas with HM standing in the middle of it with his stupid grin.

All the hero’s are on the ground, injured and some of their transformations dropped or have had their miraculous’ taken. They’re all ready to give up.

Ladybug swings in, tired and sluggish making it easy for hawkmoth to grab her and take her earrings (or maybe even just one and she manages to get out of his hold??) before throwing her to the ground.

Everyone holds their breath as they see the back of Ladybug with no transformation, not only trying to see if she’s okay, but trying to figure out who she is (I think this will be better if Alya didn’t know her identity before this).

Chat is absolutely freaking out because he did not want to find out Ladybugs identity by watching her lifeless body be dragged away by paramedics.

Just before Chat is about to try stand up, Ladybug slowly begins to move. She painfully stands and turns, and absolutely everyone loses it.

Of course their everyday Ladybug is the actual Ladybug.

But Marinette isn’t focused on all her classmates gaping, her cold glare is set on Hawkmoth. Everyone watches as she begins to walk to him.

“My name is Marinette Dupain-Cheng. I am the rightful holder of the Ladybug Miraculous and the guardian of the miracle box. I swore to use my power for the greater good, to protect Paris and its citizens from evil. My name is Marinette Dupain-Cheng and I am Ladybug”

She runs and the hero’s all watch for a bit as Marinette and Hawkmoth face each other in hand-to-hand before charging back into battle, some with their transformation and others without.

They eventually win the battle, all of them getting their miraculous back. Ladybugs wondering why Chat Noir looks so heartbroken as they watch Gabriel Agreste being shoved into a cop car.

Later that night, Marinette is back in her room (after a long talk with her parents about her double life) and she hears a tap on her window.

She lets Chat in and they both just look at each other with so much pain before coming together in a hug.

“I’m so so sorry I didn’t tell you, Chaton. I was just so afraid you would be disappointed if you found out who I really was.”

“M’lady, I wouldn’t of been visiting you as Marinette almost every night if I wasn’t in love with her. I love you, all of you.”

He pulls away and tucks a strand of hair behind her ear.

“I think it’s time you know who I am. I need you to know who I am, I need someone right now who understands what I just went through today.”

He’s on the verge of tears, so is she as she just silently nods.

“Claws in”

She stares with wide, glassy eyes and she completely understands. She pulls him up to her bed, letting him get comfortable between her legs. She sits with him all night, running fingers through his hair as he cries into her stomach.

They stay locked in her room for a week, her parents bringing them food as they recover.

When they return to school, all eyes are on them and their interlocked hands but they both walk in with their heads held high and are slowly joined by the rest of the hero’s, even Chloe (SHE DESERVES A REDEMPTION ARC AND TO BE QUEEN BEE)

It’s gonna take awhile for Marinette and Adrien to heal, but they have an awesome team of superhero friends by their side.

SO Marinette has just lost her transformation, everyone’s freaking out as they stare at Ladybugs back trying to figure out if she’s okay and who she is.

Marinette stands up and glares at Hawkmoth.

“My name is Marinette Dupain-Cheng. I am the rightful holder of the Ladybug Miraculous and the guardian of the miracle box. I swore to use my power for the greater good, to protect Paris and its citizens from evil and I will do so with my life”

Hawkmoth laughs. “You are nothing but a weak, teenage girl. You’re no superhero.”

“My name is Marinette Dupain-Cheng and I am Ladybug” And just as Marinette begins running towards Hawkmoth, a white light burst out of her chest and soon her entire body is absorbed in it.

Everyones watching in Awe as the light rises from the ground and gets brighter. It slowly comes back down, dimming before revealing Marinette.

BUT She’s transformed, not as Ladybug but an entire new Miraculous.

Marinettes fierce dictation to protecting Paris, the miracle box and everything in between has caused her to become a Miraculous herself, not needing a Kwami to transform.

Miraculous Ladybug Fanfic Prompt

The class are at the Eiffel Tower (maybe as a little day out for last day of school) and once they get to the top, there's an Akuma (it has a tail). 

Marinette about to run off to transform but notices Rose or something very close to the edge about to get hit by the tail. 

Marinette runs and pushes Rose out of the way, getting knocked off the side of the Tower and hears Chats scream which causes instant relief for her. 

Chat jumps over the edge, his eyes determined. Marinette can instantly tell when his determined look turns desperate and scared. 

She looks back and just knows he’s not gonna make it. She only has one option. 

“Tiki, Spots on” 

Chat watches as the girl is surrounded in a flash of pink/red. He admires the way Ladybug no Marinette quickly twists her body and flings out her yoyo stopping her fall just inches away from the ground. 

Chat lands next to her and wraps her in a hug, she’s violently shaking. 

“Please, never do that to me again. I don't know what I’d do with myself if I lost you. Both of you.”

OKAY I’ve been OBSESSED with Underground Cody Fry

Before C!Dream went to prison, him and C!George would always say “Love, I see you now” after they reunited after a long time apart I.e Dream goes hunting for a few days.

Dream goes to prison and in order to protect George from all the emotional pain Dream XD puts George into a seemingly endless, peaceful slumber.

XD hides George underground and creates a labyrinth with him in the middle to stop anyone from finding George and waking him up.

Skip to Dream escaping prison and begging Sapnap?? Karl?? (I haven’t finished the dream Smp so I have no idea who’d be willing to help him after prison) to tell him where George is.

“You’d really risk your freedom for a boy? For George?”

“Yes, I love him”

Karl/Sapnap/whoever gives a map to the entrance of the labyrinth and Dream begins his quest.

Skip the multiple challenges Dream has to face, after weeks underground Dream comes to a clearing (a light breaks through the black). A field filled of flowers, trees and giant mushrooms, in the middle is George sleeping on top of a moss bed.

Dream wakes him up (after much struggle) and George just assumes it’s an illusion, brushing him off and trying to go back to sleep.

“Love, I see you now” and George just MELTS instantly throwing himself at Dream, his Dream.

THEN XD comes along, asks Dream to leave.

“No, please I love him! Let him stay here with me!”

XD eventually agrees cause he’s a George simp (who isn’t??) and Dream and George live happily underground.

DNF Fanfic Prompt

Okay so, I just saw a TikTok saying how’s Dream seemed like the BIGGEST FRAT BOY/Homophobe in highschool so I took that and made it gay.

George is like the stereotypical ‘nerd character’ you see in movies. Openly gay, lanky or plus size, has braces/glasses (ya know, anything movie directors put on a character to make them more ‘unappealing’. Like full on stereotypical nerd)

Dream, Sapnap, Quackity all bullied George for this but of course Dream was the worse, making George’s high school life a living hell. And I’m thinking Dream does something in the last day of high school that is completely unforgivable.

Skip like 20 years, Dream and Sapnap are living together now, Dream being a proud Bisexual and Sapnap dating George’s only high school friend, Karl (Karl hasn’t seen George since high school) and they’re all getting ready for their high school reunion.

They’re all there, chatting with old high school mates and in walks George and Quackity (I’m a sucker for their friendship leave me alone) and oh god Dreams having a Bipanic because god why he ever thought George looked ugly in glasses is beyond him (HAVE YOU SEEN GEORGE IN GLASSES?? Also screw all movies who make it seem like having glasses is a bad thing because they are ADORABLE and SEXY)

Anyway, Dream tries to start a conversation with George only to be immediately shut down. “Look Dream, even if you aren’t that homophobic asshole you were in high school, I still have no interest in being your friend. I’m only here for Alex”.

And Dream just HAS to prove to George that he’s changed.

Marinette is having a bad day (Late night Akuma, Chloe and/or Lila being extra annoying ect) and as soon as she saw Adrien coming up to her with ‘that smile’ she was just DONE. She says some real mean stuff (Could be about his mother if we want to get angsty) and his face just DROPS before he storms off. 

That night Adrien decides to go out as Chat, ya know too clear his mind and all that. He spots Marinette crying on her balcony cause Marichat my beloved. 

Ask what’s wrong, she wonders what he’s doing here and then proceeds to explain how horrible she feels about what she said to Adrien and her horrible day. His heart obviously just melts cause “She doesn’t hate me!” 

Anyway that’s all I got :3
