meet ness, the eldest of the byers twins. sister to will & jonathan byers. born with telekinesis & clairvoyance, she managed to fly under the government's radar and live a regular childhood (as much as living with that bastard of a father allowed). growing up in hawkins, ness was an outcast (much like her siblings & mother). her budding powers contributing to that substantially, causing her peers to be unnerved by her. leading to years long alienation, harassment & bullying. ness has also earned the moniker of "the witch of hawkins".

an overworked, divorced single mother, that's trying her best. yet between trying to ensure the family stays afloat & focusing on her youngest, joyce unintentionally neglects the emotional needs of her older children (jonathan getting the brunt of the stick, in particular). she assumes that since ness & jonathan seem more independant, that they don't need her as much.

twin brother - jonathan byers

the parentified eldest son. the protector. the photographer extraordinaire. jonathan always tried to protect his loved ones. when lonnie was around, he always tried to focus his father's anger on him. so, that lonnie would hurt him instead of his mother & siblings (ironically, his sister had done the same). after their father left, jonathan had to fill in as a father figure for will. he had to step up & become akin to a second parent. (he's so eldest daughter syndrome coded)

i will answer for my avatar: the last airbender dr.

✿ about myself in my desired reality

Yumeko, formally known as Princess Yumeko of the Fire Nation or the Banished Princess. Regarded as the weakest and the biggest disappointment of her family over her lack of firebending & her softer nature. I am the eldest daughter to Firelord Ozai and half-sister to Zuko & Azula.

✿ my nationality

From my clothing & the manner in which I carry myself, it is clear that I am from the Fire Nation. This often leads to people having a negative first impression of me. My younger brother's tendency to terrorize the locals & the small group of Fire Nation's soldiers I travel with doesn't help.

✿ my clothing

As I already mentioned above, the fashion styles I wear make anyone instantly clock me as Fire Nation. But my clothing differs slightly from the Wani's crew, my brother & my uncle. First are the colors. While still unmistakably Fire Nation, I tend to wear lighter shades. Softer shades of red, (especially) pinks, creams, violets & whites (in moderation, as it is a mourning color after all). It does not mean, I do not wear the Fire Nation signature red-black combo at all. But it is not the color combination that I tend to gravitate towards. Gold jewelry/accessories are a staple. Hairpins, circlets, bracelets, necklaces. Part of it passed down from my mother, it's designs a subtle tributes to Agni, Tui & La. Part of my Eclipse Tribe heritage. Which brings upon the second point, decorativeness. Back in the palace, I wore flowy, long-sleaved, floor length robes. Beautiful yet impractical. After my third set of expensive robes got ruined, I soon learned that I needed a slightly more practical attire. I adjusted to the conditions that my new life chapter brought in. Yet my fashion, be it rare instances of wearing armor or regular clothing, still remained always a bit more decorative than that of the others on the ship. Not to the point of causing me trouble but still. Making my background as nobility clear. To summarize, among soldiers I looked like the odd one out.

✿ my eyes

A striking blend of amber/golden & blue. The former like molten gold. The latter, cold as ice. I have sectoral heterochromia, which certainly accounts for a unique eye color. My gaze is warm, kind & sympathetic.

✿ my hair

A dark brown that sometimes shimmers blue in the moonlight. Soft smooth & silky, as a royal's hair should be. Golden hairpins, ribbons & other accessories adorning it catch the eye.

✿ i'm often perceived as...

A pampered royal (which to an extent, i am). I certainly look the part, at least. In the palace, I spent my childhood and adolescence being underestimated. Being seen as weak. Too soft. In some ways, it's no different here onboard the Wani. My appearance, supposed lack of bending & reluctance to engage in combat unless neccessary (I simply see no use in terrorizing others) seem to give credibility to that conclusion.

As for those of other nations I encounter, they're wary of me. I do not seem as bad as my brother or uncle. But who is to say what hides under my facade? Who is to say how much blood I spilled? My kidness might be a trick to lower their guard.

✧ memory absorption: the user can absorb memories selectively or not, while removing it from the source, into their body and use it in various ways, gaining some form of advantage, either by enhancing themselves, gaining the drained power, using it as power source etc., either temporarily or permanently.

✧ memory vampirism: user can feed of and sustain either themselves or their powers by feeding off the memories of others. sometimes this may be done to feed a being higher than the vampire itself. this may sometimes result in death to the victim or may be so subtle it is never noticed.

✧ memory attacks: the user can release/use memories of self and/or others to various shapes and/or intensities, either projected, used as a part of melee attacks, etc.

✧ memory implantation: the user can implant memories into one's mind or that of others. which can either be the memories of themselves or others, or false memories manufactured by the user. they can completely re-write a person's memories to change their personalities, knowledge, self-identification, etc.

✧ memory imprisonment: the user can imprison the consciousness of other beings in their own thoughts, that of others, or that of the user.

✧ memory limit inducement: the user can induce various limits/limitations or blocks into oneself or others' capabilities relating to memory. the user can force a target not to remember any key information that they choose.

✧ memory vessel: user can store their memories in some form of vessel (object, being, environment, location, etc). this can allow the target to keep their memories safe in case their mind is damaged or prevent someone from stealing the target's memories.

✧ racial memory: the user is able to access memories and information that are shared across their entire race/species, allowing them to call upon the experiences of their fellows.

✧ unknown existence: user is or has an fathomless/unknown existence, as all information, knowledge, history, origin, etc., is either totally unknown or a complete mystery, therefore they cannot be compared with/to any other existence. looking up their history, how they came to be, what allowed them to exist in the first place, or even if they exist would prove impossible.

my atla dr script

i don't have energy to make a proper atla dr intro, aside from that one crappy post i made.

mainly, because i still did not script much myself. also, i got inspired to make my atla dr by @miainbetween's atla dr post. and i don't wanna seem like i am copying her. though, i did kinda steal the "blessed by la" idea from her atla dr. even if it doesn't really for me much, as a fire nation princess.

this is all i got.

also, this is work in progress. so, my script might change.

not gonna lie, i feel guilty for snatching "best waterbender" title from katara. so, i scripted she and i have same/similar power level with our bending but she gets to be known as "the greatest waterbender". meanwhile, i get to be known as "the greatest healer".

...i am still not sure what to replace yue dying and turning into the moon spirit with. also, not sure how i will end up in the north pole or befriend yue (or anyone else, for that matter).

what if i scripted that in my atla dr, i was blessed by la/the ocean spirit? what if tui/the moon spirit was sadened by so many waterbenders being killed by the fire nation? and what if seeing this, la decided to spite azulon and ozai by giving me it's blessing? as in giving the fire nation royal family a big "fuck you".

what doesn't really make sense is that, la is more symbolic of evil and death. and i'm like a ray of sunshine in that dr. also, my idea is la's blessing saving my life. again, how would a spirit symblolizing death (among other things) save my life?
