I think I'm getting the hang of this? I really love their style, or well certain aspects of it. More than anything, J C Leyendeckers use of tone and shape really appeal to me.

EDIT - For some reason this is showing up grey on Tumblr?? I added a lower quality screenshot of how it's supposed to look. No idea why it's showing up as grey here.. It isn't elsewhere? I don't have the spoons to bother.

I've always struggled with sleep and it's so frustrating. I've been on several medications and none have helped, some making issues worse. I'll be starting another new medication soon, hopefully there's some improvement.

This definitely isn't my best work, but I feel like a walking corpse, so it's not too bad considering that-

MEET THE ARTIST

Some backstory on me!

I started drawing around 4 or 5 years old by tracing Hiccups drawing of Toothless repeatedly. I recently got a tattoo of him across my chest to honor my beginnings! I started drawing digitally when I was 9 using a mouse on MS paint, then getting my first drawing tablet when I was 11.

I've always had health issues, and art kept me going for a lot of my life. It was my focus in high school and then I studied it in college. College went AMAZING and I was scouted by one of the biggest art companies in the UK for an apprenticeship once I was done!

It's been 6 months since I moved into my flat with my boyfriend and I'm starting to feel better health wise and I'm picking up art again!! I've missed it a lot and I'm so happy to be in a place where I'm healthy enough to create again.

Sadly about 3/4 through college my health issues got significantly worse and I had gone from generally being unwell to being very disabled. I dropped out of college, lost my job and spent some time homeless. I lost my apprenticeship opportunity and quit art for a period, I also quit most social medias and focused on just getting to tomorrow.

My boyfriend asked me to create an MF DOOM tattoo that he saw in a dream lmao. I actually kinda love it! The bomb is modeled off the Fallout mini nuke too! I added the pink background for posting just to make it pop more.
