This is Lotf-Positivegrams speaking! I noticed that there's quite a bit of turmoil spreading through the fandom. We need a little more positivity around here, and to remember that we are all human and need to give ourselves some grace and some love! Social creatures need a community, and this fandom needs a village!

Feel free to send any positive asks, at any time, about anything! I love all forms of lotf content like OCs, the BBC show, the original movie and the 1990s movie. If you want to talk about something/someone you love, this is the place!

Please no negative asks! I never want this blog involved in anything dramatic or controversial.

Be patient with me! I work full time in the summers and I am a student in the school months. If I don't reply instantly, I'm probably busy!

I do like Roger, I think he is a compelling character because of how he blurs the lines of villain and not knowing any better. I don't like calling any of them a villain though LOL, it feels so wrong calling a child evil. I was definitely an evil child too.

I totally agree! Even through the ups and downs, I've never seen a fandom with so much love for one another. I always love seeing the blogs people tag and learning about new talented people!

You guys have genuinely become some of the most important people in my life and have made me feel loved even on my worst days. You guys really helped me in the start of the year when I was doing bad and have helped me work on healing a ton. Thank you for putting up with me and helping me when I need it! first off we got my goat FISHGNG ‼️‼️‼️ fish is literally the mother of lotf ocs like i SWEAR. also that twist that she was actually the one running the ellie harrison blog was GENUINELY INSANE. maybe im not real and im secretly fish idk 😳 OKOK in all seriousness tho i hope she's doing alright as well bc this fandom is not in a very good spot rn but she never fails to make BANGER CONTENT. nasa4eva fr and lowk she was my inspiration to just keep spreading kindness in this community and keep moving forward no matter what happens 🥹 ik she's leaving the fandom but we gotta show her all our love n support cmon yall ‼️‼️

another person id like to mention is my fella @dejaroze bc her jimon art is straight up renaissance art. i love her enthusiasm and her positive energy, and she's so fun to talk to as well, i still think of her as jimon queen to this day. literally the og jimoner fr, she converted me into liking jimon in the first place 😋 i still remember when we would like discuss aus and headcanons and allat, it was hella fun and i considered her to be my long lost twin 🙏 (i still do tbh)

there was someone else who was in the fandom that used to be my friend for a good while and i gotta say rn bro, i hope she's genuinely doing good rn. she's like one of the most goated artists ive seen and i loved the time we spent together when we were closer. to this day, im so glad she's still finding joy in this fandom. she deserves to know that her contributions to this community and even outside of it inspired a lot of ppl here including me. she stood up for me before, a year ago and a month ago, when i was getting made fun of and i gotta send that love back to her now. everyone rn plz show her ygs's appreciation bro 🙏‼️‼️

i love my friends i’ve met here, i know a lot of bad stuff has happened and i don’t like to interact with the fandom directly anymore but @vessel214, @beastswinethief, @feathery-bastard, @dejaroze, and @msfisherot are all people who never had to interact with me further than lotf and still chose to become treasured people in my inner circle

this fandom can be a beautiful place for meeting people sometimes, as it often serves as a jumping off point for people to enter other fandoms where their interests may initially converge

I totally agree! I hope one day I can be friends with people deeper than a shared interest in Lord of the Flies! I'm so happy for you to find people you love and feel comfortable with!
