Sincere question here. I don’t get why everyone is so busted about the nsfw ban? I didn’t even know full on porn was a big thing here, except for the bots. And while I don’t agree with the decision. All these people that aren’t here just for the porn, leaving, seems so dumb. Since when was this the only place for that? Instead of being an edgy bitch saying things like: “you got what you deserve tumblr”, go complain to the staff. Weird people man.

People have all the right to be horny. And with tumblr turning into a pandora box of rad-fems and neonazis, the only good thing this site still had was the p-o-rn. Pretty sure at least 70% of the active userbase in this site is/was p-o-rn.

Now, Tumblr knew about the child p-o-rn and the bots problem, THEY KNEW. They didn’t do anything. Then their app got removed from stores and they started losing money. Instead of hiring human moderators that could effectively flag and ban illegal content, they used a fucking bot, that flags puppies, peanuts (the cartoon), sfw art, etc. And now, because their bot didn’t work, their solution is to burn up the website. All for money.

Thousands of people, from lawful p-o-rn artists to s-ex workers (most of them LGBT+ women) are gonna lose their plataforms and their business because the lazy fucks at tumblr development don’t want to hire moderators. Aside from this being a clear dystopian attack against the se-xual freedom of people.

Tumblr is just trash. The bot will end up flagging stuff that shouldn’t. If you want to report it, you would just be talking to another bot. Art and memes will be hidden and deleted. Tumblr just signed the final note to its imminent death.
