louisvuittonvampireā:
Viktor took the lead, guiding the blond through the movements fluidly- attending hundreds of galas in his 156 years of life. He was familiar with many dancing styles, as his international business often came with the learning of different cultures. As a child, Viktorās mother had enrolled him in ballet lessons without his fatherās knowledge. He enjoyed the years he spent learning to arabesque with grace and pirouette without falling. Perhaps one day he would pick it up again. He had an eternity to learn, after all.Ā
āI missed dancing with you too.ā He said, pulling Garridan into a spin and taking care to ensure he wouldnāt fall. The blond seemed to have a way of getting into trouble and had stumbled during a few dances in the past. There had been a number of events in which Garridan had gotten anxious and began to cry, though Viktor was always there to comfort him. Usually the night ended with the blond ending up having a good time, so Viktor knew Garridan wasnāt just doing it for his sake.Ā
At the kiss, Viktor couldnāt help but smile, returning with a few quick pecks to his loverās lips.Ā āI wonāt leave again, my love.ā He said, rubbing where his hand sat on Garridanās lower back.Ā āNot even hunters could separate us for too long.āĀ
Ā Ā Ā Ā As always, Garridanās maker seemed fully in control and aware. The mortician couldnāt help but admire the grace, but there was also an element not quite different from disenfranchisement. If he hadnāt been buzzed he likely would have allowed his thoughts to spiralāwhy him, a humble country boy? He knew next to nothing of a socialiteās life, and boy did he feel that at times Viktor might as well have been on another plane of existence altogether. Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā A soft squeak escaped the progeny as his maker pulled him close, his grip tightening slightly with apprehension. While he knew the other man wouldnāt dare to let him fall or leave him behind, Garridan couldnāt help but worry about his dancing. āYouā¦you missed me too-?ā Watery depths softened. Then a small chuckle escaped him. Of course Viktor had missed him, and their reunion within the cemetery had told Garridan all heād needed to know.Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Despite his mask obscuring some of his face, it was clear that the young vampire was flustered at the chaste pecks.Ā āViktor-! Draga meu!ā My dear-! A soft giggle escaped the blond. He drank in his partnerās scent, unbeating heart melting at the words.Ā āThey tried, butā¦youāre right as always, Viktor.ā Maybe Garridan underestimated his own intelligence and powers, but to him, Viktor always seemed to know the best course of action. Ā Ā Ā Though this wasnāt to say he held his maker on a pedestal, despite Garridanās feelings of inferiority. After all his education had been very lackluster, heād been a sick child, and most of his life experiences came from tending to otherwise household duties seeing as it was only himself and his father. Maybe Garridan wouldāve been a nice house husband, but he was content with having made some name for himself as a mortician. Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā A content hum escaped the progeny as his maker rubbed his back, once again eagerly pressing his lips to the other maleās. Maybe he was a little too affectionate, but how else could one react after being apart from their lover for so long-?Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā āIām starting to regret not asking you to come with meā¦I just didnāt wish to bother you. Youāre still settling into the city, and your businessāā The words seemed to stumble out of his mouth, but after a moment he hushed himself.Ā āSorryā¦Iāve been rambling almost all night. Iām just happy to be here, with youāall these years later, and I canāt help but feel the same as I did when we met.ā His hand trailed along his partnerās shoulder, eyes attuning to the fabric. Though he was by no means a designer, he knew a thing or two seeing as his mother had been a seamstress.Ā āYou were in uniform, and though I was terrified of you at firstāwell, not even a week later we were sending letters.āĀ Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā
āThey tried indeed. Almost succeeded, too.ā He gave a light chuckle, satisfied with his lover in his arms.Ā āAlmost. Not quite though.ā He joked, hoping to ease his progenyās anxiety if only a little. As always, Viktor could only do his best to live up to Garridanās dreams of romantic waltzes and balls.Ā
Viktor shook his head- he had expected nothing less from Garridan. Always worried about bothering him. He clicked his tongue, chastising him lightly.Ā āYou could never bother me. You have managed to keep me for this long, eh?ā
At the comment, Viktor smiled, remembering fondly how he felt like using a type-writer was inappropriate when it came to sending love letters. Each time, Viktor would spend hours deciding what to write and translating it the best he could into Garridanās native language. The sentiment clearly payed off, seeing as Garridan and Viktor had been in love for several decades now.Ā
āHow did you come to love a big, bag Russian vampire like me?ā Viktor teased, staying in step with the music perfectly.Ā
