ralsei in the chapter epilogue just proved that they aren't something kris carries which is honestly a relief. i was telling a friend that i would really dislike it if rals were an object - i truly believe they are meant to be a shadow/darkness itself.. or a concept
in the end of the chapter, if you check your phone, it says there's a number of missed calls. if you check again, kris looks at the back of the phone.
they're trying to hide the calls from susie, is it from the caller from ch4? or are they hiding the calls from what happened to rudy (noelle, carol, toriel..)
i'm fixating on blasphemous again because of the free dlc + my best friend bought me the mea culpa dlc. crisanta my wife you don't know how much i've missed you
i watched the among us show and it was actually so fun?? i really liked it
spoilers
funny enough, i started suspecting of green because i liked watching the games that red played on the intro, and in one there's a pokemon parody in which a green alien kills purple's fish.
whats your opinion on the "at the end of silksong hornet becomes lace's new mother 😜" take that I see a lot, ESPECIALLY on the reddit and youtube side of the fandom. I personally hate it like a lot but what do you think? i know it's prolly not your thing but i wanna see your thoughts on it.
I generally try to ignore people i disagree with/dislike online. People can do what they like yknow and its not the worst thing ive seen. that being said.
i quite frankly think it goes against specifically lace's entire character arc. lace does not want a mother. it could in fact be argued that act 3 of silksong occurs at all because lace had a mother in the first place. i also really hate the other headcanon that tends to be tied into the mother/daughter thing, which is that lace is unable to mentally age beyond a child because she was spun that way. at the very least, if gms was actually in some way stunting lace's mental development (which... ok), hornet would fix that shit quick. its a common thing i see - "lace was spun to be a child" (both for this and the 'lace is a child argument) but like.... can't she be unspun? respun? can she never be more than what her mother intended for her to be? <- this right here, to me, is one of the major themes of silksong - being who you want to be, making your own fate, becoming someone who stands for something. arguing against lace being able to become something more than 'her mother's child' defeats the entire point of silksong and hornet's story arc, which was to push back against the expectations given to her and do things as she wanted. why would lace not reflect that as well?
And this is my opinion, but I think theres a sort of constant infantilization of lace, even in lacenet itself, especially in relation to hornet (despite the evidence of her and hornet being "children" being virtually the same). shes portrayed as somewhat weak and helpless. i've heard her actions in silksong be called akin to "a child throwing a tantrum" which is just such an unbelievable dismissal of her entire life. its like - oh she doesnt know what shes doing. shes just a child. <- this actually pisses me off the most about so many arguments about lace, is that so often they strip her of her autonomy and do exactly what sent her over the deep end with her own mother
i really dont mind if it people dont ship lacenet, its def whatever, but i do very much feel that people in fandom are misogynistic to degrees they dont even realize. i mentioned the francesca/michaela controversy a while ago, but many more fandoms i have been in where lesbian ships are derided in similar ways so that people have excuses not to ship them and they can feel good about not have lesbian ships. god i genuinely saw an argument against mizisua (alnstg) where someone was saying they cant be together bc they knew each other as children. hello. what. i will see people online talk about how annoying it is that people are 'still talking about' hornet and lace (not as a couple just in general) and its like!!!! hello!!!! the main characters of the game you played????
anyways - i also think 'hornet is laces new mother' is just an insanely bizarre take. i didnt talk about it much, but i do think it takes away from hornet too, shoving her into a mother role. although i dont think hornet is opposed to the role, i dont think her first attempt at it is going to be lace because lace would genuinely try to kill her for the aforementioned reasons. i also dont think thats something she's actively looking for. why on earth would she mother another immortal. they're the same age.
anyways they probably think they're being antithetical to shipping when they do this, but found family is such a classic fandom troupe like girl why u acting superior about the fact you think they dont want to eat each other pussy. i think its like... fine. im not going to go out of my way to like... comment on posts where they're depicted in a familial relationship (unlike what they do to lacenet content.....) but i genuinely think that headcanoning hornet and lace as mother and daughter is more fandom-esque than shipping them.
