4x8 25lb chest press
4x8 50lb row machine
4x8 50lb tricep press
4x8 30lb shoulder press
5x4 40lb rear deltoid fly
5x5 40lb pectoral fly
4x8 weenie baby barbell arm curls
2x8 25lb weight ring push up pull down thingies??
4x8 kettle bell hanging hammer strength thingy
note one: number these things!
note two: im sweating!!
i really, really hope my body starts changing soon. each little victory, each "rep until failure," each little bit of muscle peeking out from under the fat...
i want to see changes soon. it is disheartening.
I'M FAT.
Yep. I'm fat. 100lbs overweight by definition means I'm fat.
Does this make me look or feel ugly? Nope. Does this hurt my feelings? Nope!
It's just a fact. I am fat.
I'm only working to change that, to lose the extra 100lbs, because of health issues.
So it really pisses me off when people coo and whinge, "Oh don't say that (you're fat)! You're beautiful and perfect just how you are!"
1) Excuse me, did I say I was ugly?
2) I know I'm perfect, but my HEALTH is not
3) I'm not going to stop working out or block my eyes and ears and pretend everything is fine just to die an early death so you could pat yourself on the back for being "such an accepting person."
If YOU can't handle the truth -- that someone 100lbs overweight is actually, factually fat -- don't take out YOUR insecurities on me.
I am fine with myself. I embraced my jiggle with joy and laughter, and marvelled at how silly I could be, how FREE I feel inside this body that I can STILL make look good.
But I also acknowledge: I am fat. And being THIS level of fat will kill me. And so I need to change something.
So quit telling me I'm NOT fat on the off chance it is brought up, or to "shush" when I point out I am, in fact, too big for this park ride. Quit saying I'm beautiful as the reason why I can't be fat, when I am gleefully both. Quit trying to convince me to kill myself and die every time you say I don't need to lose weight, so you can feel good about your own ego.
You can be body positive. I know I am! I loved my rolls and delighted in my wobbly thighs.
But you can ALSO be health positive without being body negative. And that's something I think a lot more people should try.
LEG DAYYYY
12min mildly intensive elliptical
4x8 145lb leg abductor
4x8 90lb leg adductor (i might have these backwards, hmm)
4x8 50lb leg extensions
5x5 35lb seated leg curl machines
4x8 90lb seated leg press
a BUNCH of calisthenics, such as:
side to side leg squat lunges to stretch out a bit
so MANY hamstring stretches
calf stretches (4x8 bodyweight)
leg lifts, like five different versions
lots more stretching
i got on some machine where you bend upside down and lift urself back up and that was cool, did three sets of ten!!
found out you can play nintendo switch on the elliptical so note to self, get a lock for the locker for noncardio days
and that was pretty much it!!

anyway my arms became noodles which is good, but i worry i might've put too much strain on my neck.

gym from Sunday
i forgot to write down Sunday nights gym work. i don't remember any of it after the five minute cardio warm up tbh, since i spent the whole day in an exhausted fog.
i know i did back extension, ab machine, and rowing, but i couldn't tell you the weight, rep # or set #.
can't remember anything else at all though
been at the gym 3-5 days per week for about two ish months
im the same weight
i managed to fit into one preowned size 15 pants, but i can't manage that if i go into walmarts clothing department, so i don't feel it's a real reflection of any fat LOSS.
i still feel and look massive.
i want to incorporate more cardio alongside my weight lifting.
maybe i can work extra hard on my diet, too. no more cheat meals or fancy coffees or "you can eat bigger portions because it's healthy!"
Last night at the gym
Forgot to write this down whilst there since my phone was dead

3x5 side lunge squats
3x12 lying down on stomach leg scissors
3x12 legs in air while lying on side plank kinda thing? both sides
3x12 leg lifts but in a scissor motion both sides again

No Gym Week - Results
I guess having a moment to rest (if you can call being extremely busy 'resting'!) has done my body some good!
My weight finally fell below 210 -- I'm now 207.4 on the scale.
I'm still looking for changes in my body beside the obvious finally-able-to-suck-it-in feat. I really can't tell FOR SURE, but I keep eyeing my tummy droop and the fronts of my knees -- those two spots look a little different, but I can't really tell what's changed. I hope it's fatloss!
I did stop to get fast food for the first time in years this past week, though, and I've eaten a bit of icecream. I'll expect to not stay 207 over the next few days, but I'm back on track by now. Having prepped most of my meals beforehand has really and truly helped this week.
The week of no gym...
It already feels weird. I have to keep reminding myself not to go. Unfortunately, I'm working two jobs this week so I have zero time for myself... Heck, I'm not even staying at home this week! I might maybe have just enough time to snatch three hours of sleep each night... if I'm lucky. No way can I work out this week :(
I figured I'd instead just adjust my diet, so I meal prepped beforehand and now I've got four healthy dinners and four healthy lunches prepped meals ready to take to work with me... Here's to hoping this all works out!
Gym night 20!!!
5 min 2/16 arc trainer
4x12 100lb hip adduction
4x12 135lb hip abduction
3x8 40lb seated leg curls
3x8 40lbs leg extension
3x8 80lb seated leg press
my body is smoothing out. i'm still big, i seem to be the same size even, but things are changing and smoothing out.
I only get to go to the gym once this week (today)
How should I spend the time there....?
Since I'll be doing a LOT of heavy lifting during the week, I figured I'd skip the weights for once and do straight up cardio, but I'm not sure what'd be most beneficial...
gym #19
going by memory while falling asleep in bed

4x8 20lb chest press
3x8 50lb rowing

10min arc trainer 5/15
im so tired i cant even think of what to write here
