Coming into my second year of buffalo state was very interesting. Leaving home for the second time and I really didn’t want to do it. Not that this is a bad school, but because everything at home is just better. Come on let’s be honest when you’re at home, you get to see your childhood friends, you know where everything’s at and you have no worries or stress in your life. Anyway, coming back to buffalo state was also great because I got to link back up with old friends and I knew what I was getting myself into. My first year coming to college was very nerve wrecking because I thought the college work was going to be too much for me, and I just wanted to be able to handle everything that was being thrown at me. Coming from where you were raised and use to and going somewhere totally different with a bunch of people that are in the same situation as you, is a little nerve wrecking. Wondering if you’re going to be accepted and have friends like you did at home or be one of the people with nothing. You’re basically leaving everything your use to, to something totally brand new. But that was my first year and everything worked out fine, and my second year here is half way over. This semester I aimed to make my GPA way higher then what it is, since I know how college is, and coming to the end of this semester I am very happy on how my grades are going to turn out. I feel like I did my thang this semester. I did all my work ahead of time, got to meet way more people than last year, and my grades and going o way better this year, than they were freshman year. The only thing that I’m a little down about is, one of my friends, well probably my best friend, here is leaving and transferring to another school. Yea it hurts to see him go, but I know it’s something he wants and it’s for the better and I wish him the best of luck and hope everything works out there for him. We came freshman year strangers and as he leaves sophomore year, I look at him like my brother. Next semester I look to focus on my studies again like I did this semester and I also hope they choose me to be a RA next year. That’s right, ya boy applied to be a RA!

Thanksgiving break is coming and I honestly can't wait. Out of all the holidays, I have to say, Thanksgiving is my favorite. Its my favorite because you get to get to go back home for a whole week and see family, that we have been away from since the beginning of the school year. Being at school starts to tire you out and makes you really eager to see your loved like mom & dad and the rest of your family. You can't forget about the food. Its also great when all your family is close and lives in the same area so you can travel house to house to get a piece of what everybody's cooking. I love this holiday because it brings all your family together, to laugh & have a good time, and share a great big feast celebrating the commemorates a harvest festival celebrated by the Pilgrims in 1621. My mother & grandmother go all out for this holiday and get up really early just to start cooking. Im talking about 5AM just so they'll be done by dinner time for everybody to eat. All my cousins, uncles, aunts, and good portion of my family "talking about the potion that lives in NY" all come to my house just for this holiday & I absolutely love it. The rest of the holidays are great but this one takes the cake by far because what could possibly go wrong in this holiday other than somebody burning the turkey? Many of you might disagree and pick Christmas over Thanksgiving because you get presents, but think about this... Many of you expect certain things for christmas and there had to be that Christmas that you didn't get exactly what you wanted, & when you get that very present you can't act rude or selfish, you have to act like you like what that person got you, weather its the iPhone 7 you always wanted or a rock that you cousin thought you'd rather have. Thanksgiving is a holiday that you know what your getting yourself into. You know every year your going to be with family. Everybody is going to be happy. Everybody is going go eat a good dinner. After that everybody says goodbye, and the food that your mother makes, your going to be eating for the next 2 weeks. If thats not LIT than I don't know what is.

Halloween

Yesterday was Halloween & this was pretty interesting. My bro from back at home had herd that Buffalo is the place to be for Halloween and came to visit this weekend. Before the weekend started I had nearly all my homework done, and was quite happy seeing my middle of the semester grades. Them being high and where I wanted them to be, I was in a great mood. Being here last year, I knew Halloween was going to be good. Friday my bro, arrived and I introduced him to the squad and we began this weekend. We all went to the annual haunted house that this year was a circus theme. Just based off that you should know that, it was a lot & a lot of clown in it scaring everybody. After the haunted house we came back to the dorm pre gamed, then went off to some house party. The parted ended up not being that good, being that we were only there for about an hour then the cops came to shut it down. On Saturday, we woke up and went to breakfast then after target. Being in the halloween mood, we went and got some candy and soda for the room later tonight. we did same thing, not including the haunted house went to a party. This one was costume themed, and was way better than the one on Friday. It was very funny seeing everybody in there costumes. There was people dressed up as babies, monsters, jason, feddy, michael myers, basketball players, cheif keef, doctors, zombies, cheerleaders. You know there was a girl that was a cat, cause we all know, girls love to be cats for halloween. There was even a guy there that was the heart eyes emoji, but the funniest was a guy in a life like ted costume. Even though it was extremely hot in there like how it is in every party, he never took his costume off, not even his mask, but he was lit though, he was the life of the party. We were at that party for a wile, then the cops showed up, but the people that were hosting it made everybody be quiet so they would soon enough go away and everybody started partying again, and then after we left and thats how our night ended. Finishing this weekend off by waking up this Sunday morning getting some breakfast, and playing 2k. #Halloween #SosaVorgees

Project 1

Sexual abuse and the ‘victim-offender cycle” is what I decided to dedicate my project to.  Being an education major I know there is a good chance I will have a student in one of my classes who has been abused, is being abused or have seen a parent or relative be abused. Unfortunately abuse isn’t uncommon and it’s a very emotional topic to discuss.  I know quite a few loved ones who have been abused and I think that’s why although this is a tricky topic, it’s important to me.  I’m interested in educating myself and others about the ‘victim offender cycle”.  After completing a little bit of research I found many articles on why males become sexual abusers/molesters/rapists.  35% of offenders said they were victims of abuse as children.   Only 11% of offenders said they were not abused as a child. I am interested in researching more about the factors that contribute to this cycle of abuse.  Why victims of abuse may decide to continue the cycle later on in life.   Wouldn’t we like to know why people abuse others? Why they want to hurt others emotionally and physically? Why they might seek to become offenders? I think this is a topic that a lot of people would be interested in.  It’s something that can hit home for many and even if someone doesn’t experience abuse or know someone who has it will still touch people’s hearts.  Especially with all the stories regarding young ladies and even some males in college being sexual assaulted I think it’s an important topic.  These are things that happen on college campuses daily.  I think the biggest problem I will encounter will completing my web is finding appropriate pictures to help show my research.  It’ll be easy for someone to realize a picture shows abuse when shown it but I’m not sure if they’ll get exactly what I’m saying by a picture.  Since this topic can be so graphic and emotional it is tricky to gather pictures that hopefully won’t make others feel uncomfortable.  I want to interest other in this topic and show how important this topic is and why we should pay attention to the matter.

I like that you chose the topic sexual abuse. I see this topic as a topic that people actually try not to talk about, maybe because it makes people uncomfortable or it’s an awkward topic in a way. I like that you chose it because, many people need to be informed and educated on this subject and to be aware about how it happens, how it could happen, and how it affects people in the long runs after. Project 1

If I had to guess my project’s issue is very different from everyone else’s. I have chosen to research about animals in captivity, so more specifically how animals in zoos and in marine parks get treated. You hear endless things about animal activists trying to put an end to sea worlds and showing awful pictures all over the internet of animals being neglected in these parks, is this what happens in every area? And is this inhumane of us to keep these animals locked up in cages for us to view as pleasure. I have been researching many points of this not just the negative, even though I do believe the negative out weigh the positive by quite a lot. I have looked into if animals being in captivity is educational or beneficial to the human race, also if zoos and marine parks are trying to help save animals or just doing it to make a profit. Because there are many animal conservations that are nonprofit, and only goal is to save an animal species. I also have checked how healthy the animals usually are in captivity and how long they usually live, there mental health is usually very poor as ours would be if we were locked in a cage all day in a pretend environment. And their physical health is worse than how it would be if they were in the wild, they do not get as much exercise being locked up. Elephants walk up to 50 miles a day out in the wild and in a cage and they hardly have room in move back and forth. This messes up how they are taught to survive and how their brain functions. Which is why we see so much depression in these animals and so much fatality and sickness. Another factor is the animal trainers and vets who work in these zoos and marine parks, do they really want what’s best for the animals? They are there to make a profit as a lot of us would and they are there to study the animals. But these wild animals are not acting as they would in their natural environment right? So they are not benefiting the researchers and trainers in zoos or the civilians trying to view them. To really learn these animals and see their real beauty we need to let them be in the wild, help preserve their habitat if need be but they can survive on their own. I myself have gone to plenty of zoos and aquariums all over the country, because I love animals and I felt as if this was my way to learn more about them. But in all reality it is not, I was trying to learn about animals that were forced into this pretend habitat and who act nothing like they would in the wild, they are only hurting the animals who live in there.

I really like your project 1 topic. Animal captivity is a very unique and different topic. I like it because not many people really talk about this issue or addresses it at all. Animally captivity is good and bad. Good, because if an animal, gets hurt, and not able to live or survive on its own then they put it in captivity to help it heal and recover to be better. It’s bad because what animally wants to be behind a fence 24/7. It’s almost like there in jail. Every animal wants to be free and to be able to make its own decisions. I love this topic and I can’t to read what you have wrote.

I am not going to give away the full title of my project! However, my topic of choice is depression. I choose to right about depression because there’s a stigma that surrounds victims of depression and I want to educate my peers on what depression really is and how it affects us all. When I first learned about depression I was one of many who said, “How can you be sad for so long that you can’t function”, “it’s just an excuse to not get over something, just move on.” Those where some of the statements used by myself and others who didn’t understand depression. As I got older I started to encounter people with ‘clinical’ depression, meaning they were actually diagnosed and given treatment for their depression. Through my encounter with such wonderful people who had no complete control over what was happening to them, I realized that I needed to understand depression. I needed to understand it so that I can explain it to myself and others every day; I needed to be part of the solution and not the problem. I am an aspiring Cardiologist and anything that affects the heart, mind and body is of great concern to me so it’s my duty to conduct such research and seek a solution/cure. Depression has yet to be officially labeled as something other than an ‘emotional disorder’ but the truth is depression is a neurological abnormality. It stems from the brain, the physical and measurable cause of depression has to do with a dysfunction in your neurotransmitters (NT). Our ‘normal’ neurotransmitters are deigned to pass on signals and substances that help us function but for someone with depression, your NT just doesn’t work correctly. The ‘feel good’ signal/substance in your brain is not being transmitted correctly and therefore you don’t feel good at all. Sometimes you may have thoughts of suicide even when watching your favorite movie. Interesting right, however, ‘the real research is finding out what is causing the ‘feel good’ signal/substance from being transmitted?’ This project has become very personal and I intend to continue my research and enlightenment on this matter after this project is completed. Every day thousands of kids wake up afraid to go to school. Bullying is a problem that affects millions of students, and it has everyone worried, not just the kids on its but teachers, and other adults are affected to, they may not understand how extreme bullying can get.Bullying is when a person is picked on over and over again by an individual or group with more power, either in terms of physical strength or social standing.Two of the main reasons people are bullied are because of appearance and social status. Bullies pick on the people they think don’t fit in, maybe because of how they look, how they act for example shy kids and kids that are different. Some bullies attack their targets physically, which can mean anything from shoving or tripping to punching or hitting, or even sexual assault. Others use psychological control or verbal insults to put themselves in charge. For example, people in popular groups or cliques often bully people they categorize as different by excluding them or gossiping about them (psychological bullying). They may also taunt or tease their targets (verbal bullying Verbal bullying. Who’s your favorite team?

Theirs only twenty three more days until the NBA season is back. Last NBA season in my opinion was not as good and interesting as people wanted. It had a lot of injuries, which means many different peoples favorite players didn’t play. It also made the season very predictable on who was going to win the post season (Playoffs). In my opinion the upcoming NBA season will be a way better than the last one. Being that all the players that were injured like Kevin Durant, Kobe Bryant, Paul George, and many more will be back, causing a lot of excitement and also lead there teams in a better direction than last year. Also during the offseason there was the NBA Draft and many free agent signings that took place that should impact the league. Some impacts are greater than others like Lamarcus Aldridge, star power forward from the Portland Trailblazers, being signed to the San Antonio Spurs which should make them the best team in the west and the best contenders for the NBA championship. Rajon Rondo getting signed to the Sacramento Kings, which should lead that team in the right direction and possible make them finally being playoff contenders. Karl-Anthony Towns, 6’11 center from Kentucky was drafted first to the Minnesota Timberwolves, and Jahlil Okafor, 6’11 center from Duke was drafted to the Philadelphia 76ers. Both of these men are amazing basketball players and should help these lowers teams be better in ranking of the rest of the NBA teams. Throughout all of that this upcoming NBA season should be a great one, hopefully every player stays healthy and doesn’t experience and injury that causes them to miss games. My favorite team is the Oklahoma City Thunder and with the whole team healthy they should be in a way better position for a NBA title then they were last year. The two star players for that team are point guard Russell Westbrook & small forward Kevin Durant. Both last year were struggling with injury and it hurt the team deeply. Kevin Durant with suffering from a broken foot and with a bunch of surgeries following it forced him to sit out for the whole year. Russell Westbrook was by himself all year but also suffered a cheek bone fracture, that forced him to sit out a couple games but then kept playing with despite the pain.

I am going to tell you about the best superhero off all time and why. I’m sure you are already guessing or saying a certain hero but I guarantee you’re wrong. The best hero of all the heroes is the god of thunder thor. He has so many different things that he can do that show how great he really is. He is a god to start it off he has lightning powers and a hammer that only should you be worthy can wield. He’s got super strength speed can fly fight and he’s basically immortal he can’t really die. He never really loses to anyone in a battle just because how strong he is. Put him against your favorite superhero I guarantee thor will be able to defeat that hero easily. The older thor gets as well the stronger he will become his power will keep growing he’s infinite. He does not even have weakness which is another reason why he is such a good hero. I’ve never seen any hero that is just as good as or better than the hero thor. He is the almighty thunder god and he is unstoppable when it comes to fighting. He never really even goes all out when he fights certain people because they are his friends but when he does. Every villain that has ever tried to face thor has not been able to actually best him in a battle. In a way kind of see myself in thor because he simply does not lose and neither do I would just chose not to win. Look at all of the heroes in these movies and comics now they keep having to get power ups to get stronger while thor never really changed because he was already always stronger then the next person. That is how and it will always be for thor he is simply unbeatable no matter what you do that is just how it’s going to be. Thor really is my favorite hero because of all these reasons he has saved the universe so many times I can’t even count how many times he has done it. He even goes to the afterlife to bring people back that he would want to see again if they were taken in a wrong manner or style. Only a god can do something like that which is why I really like thor he is such a great hero and I will always like him best.

 Everyday, people walk around with no goals. No ideas about what they want to pursue in life. They take no steps toward a positive, beneficial future. People who come from nothing should want to make something out of their selves. This is not always the case for everyone. 

 I was raised by my mother in Syracuse, NY. My father was a felon in and out of jail. I remember taking trips with my mom upstate to visit him. I knew growing up I never wanted my mother to have to visit me in any correctional facility. Growing up I also knew that I wanted to take care of my mother. As a child, my mother did whatever she had to do to take care of me, and later my younger brother. She got my things, not everything, that I wanted even though she knew she couldn’t afford it. I have never seen a person be struggling so much, and still be a loving, caring and strong mother. I never take anything for granted and I will do more than work hard to make sure she and my family is taken care of. 

 Growing up I never thought about college or where I wanted to go. I just knew that my family, along with the rest of society, wanted me to get a college education. There was never an occupational job that I wanted to work toward.  My mother never got the chance to get her college education because she had me when she was 19. My mother ended up finding a decent paying job. My father was a high school drop-out. I’m their first born child so they wanted me to get my college education, and then pursue a job. I decided to come to buffalo state and start a new chapter in my life. 

 Although my major is sociology, I am a photographer. I started my own company in 2014 with my cousin titled, Triple Eye Company. We provide photography services, videos, clothing, and any inspiration we can. Under my company’s name I plan on changing the world in some way. Lot’s of people don’t know that, but they will see.

 In CWP 102, I plan on becoming a stronger writer, and speaker. My professor seems to be a cool person. I believe she can guide me in the right direction. So far my writing skills are not so bad. I know I have to work on certain areas of writing. I also plan on building my vocabulary. The stronger your vocabulary, the stronger person your are. Through writing I can express myself. This is what people need to realize. A pencil and pad in the right person’s hands can change the world.

Starting your post off talking about how people don’t have goals kind of confused me a little. I feel as if most people have goals especially people in college, there goal usually is to be successful especially because there in college. I do like how no matter what you had to go through or face you still did what you had to do, and look how far you came. I like how you like more than one thing. Hip Hop has always been one of the most favorite genre of music in New York City. Growing up in the city everyone listened to Hip Hop. What makes Hip Hop so unique are the form of lyrics, it brings mindful thoughts and meanings. It voices pastime and culture in so many communities which makes it so influential. This shows how complex of a genre Hip Hop is. Hip Hop in the 1980s was a huge step for the genre, it was considered as the “Golden age” during that time period. Run DMC and LL Cool J where one of the most popular musicians during that time. Their rhymes were so superior that it became successful critically. Instrumentals from jazz and funk were being sampled frequently bringing a smooth motion of songs. NWA is a notorious group who were mostly criticized for harsh and inappropriate lyrics, they made a protest song against police brutality during the LA riots. New York rappers in the 90s were beginning to grow, big names such as Nas, Jay-Z and Notorious B.I.G were the most popular during that time. Hip Hop changed during that time because being lyrical was the most attractive thing during that point. Tupac is considered the most influential rapper ever, behind his raps where everyday struggles from teen pregnancy to homelessness. Some of the deaths of the most influential rappers such as Eazy E, Notorious B.I.G, Tupac and Big L where one of the most saddest thing to ever happen in Hip Hop culture. They helped the movement across the world with their messages. Hip Hop is also a big business, P.Diddy and Jay-Z both own record companies and their net worths are increasingly high. In today’s generation many rapper’s influences are Kanye West, Jay-Z and Lil Wayne. Rappers such as Drake, J.cole, Future, Kendrick Lamar are the favorites of our generation. Today rappers speak from the mind and the soul and people notice that and it creates a vibe. Drake is the most honest rapper today, he express his emotions in current situations people face everyday. In my opinion Hip Hop is the best genre of music, there’s always a story behind their songs and it expands so many thoughts for so many people. Especially coming from New York City where Hip Hop is constantly played all the time and it would be so hard say its not the best genre of music, it fills in a vibe for so many people today.

I liked how you mentioned many rapper names, and how there most people’s favorites at this time. I must say though, how you forget about other rappers like Meek Mill? Don’t tell me your one of those people that forgot about him after that whole him & drake beef. How you forget about Harlem born and raised rapper A$AP Rocky? Issues at Buffalo State

So this is my second year at Buffalo State and before coming here it was already a headache. Before I arrive I haven’t receive any housing so I was worried that I will be placed off campus at some other college. Another issue I had was that I wasn’t able to get into the classes that I wanted and I did not want to go another year taking only 12 credit hours. I almost wasn’t placed in housing because I wasn’t register for classes that was 12 credit or more but that wasn’t my fault. Classes I wanted wasn’t available because I was told that they had to save those classes for the incoming freshmen but to me that is not fair. Finally when everything was settle and I had my schedule done and I arrive at school things seemed good so far. Two weeks into the semester I’ve noticed that my meal plan was changed into a freshmen meal plan. At this point I was upset because that meal plan is was about two thousands dollars and I was depending on the refund check to hold me until I get back to New York City. The problem I had with that is they are going by how many credits I have which is not thirty or more to consider me a sophomore but that is not my fault. When I register for classes in my first semester as a freshmen my advisor created my schedule so I really didn’t have no say and I didn’t not much about how to switch classes. Then in my second semester I was only able to take four classes because all the other classes that I needed to take were closed and I wasn’t going to take a 300 or 400 level class because I knew I wasn’t going to do my best. So at this moment I had to figure out how to stretch out my money I saved in my account as well my dining dollars. This was just to much for me. Within those two weeks living on campus two serious incidents happened and now all the dorms lost their visitation privileges. Even though UPD decided to do that I don’t think that helps the situation because people still going to get into different buildings even if they don’t live there. Also if they person lived on campus that did the robbery probably still has the gun because there are no cameras in the staircase and they wasn’t no room checks. So I’m not understanding what is Buffalo State actually doing to provided safety for students. What I’m basically saying is that Buffalo State needs to get it together.

Hello, I def agree with you. I’m a sophomore and I knew I no longer wanted to live on campus after my freshman year. I’m glad I made the decision to live off campus. It has its good times and bad times. Mainly good times so far. I never got the chance to even meet my advisor until he ended up being one of my professors this semester. I had to create my own schedule and I did that early. If I didn’t I would have probably been in the same boat. I would suggest scheduling your classes ahead of time, and really search for classes that interest you. I agree with you 100% when you say Buffalo State needs to get it together.

Yo I one hundred percent agree with this post, this college got some problems that they need to take care of. It’s almost like they don’t care about us and that’s brazy. Why I dead hate about this whole thing they call school is that they are so slow about doing things, and really bad at organizing most things. I also had a problem with housing but at least I had enough luck to be granted somewhere on campus, mind you ima a sophomore. I paid my dues, and proved that I have enough smarts and responsible to make it back here another year.

Talking about superheroes and superpower always is an interesting topic to me. I think everybody in the world would love to have superpowers, but I feel like life didn’t give us any because people would have abused the power they were given. In my opinion most people would be villains because most of the time when people are given power they use it in the wrong way. Talking about powers my favorite superhero actually has none. My favorite superhero of all time is Batman. His real name is Bruce Wayne, also known as “The Dark Knight”. He protects the fictional place of Gothem City, and his arch nemesis and most people’s favorite villain “The Joker”. Yea the joker is his most famous villain but he’s not the only one, he also encounters and has to defeat, Bane, Scarecrow, Penguin, and many more. He fights along; his trusty sidekick robin, sometimes night wing, and on occasion cat women.  Even though batman doesn’t have a power he uses hand to hand combat, suspense, fear, his bat suit, and his intelligence to defeat his enemies. Although he doesn’t have a superpower he still fights for justice and keeps his city safe. He also proves he is one of the best superhero’s out of all because no matter what challenge or villain he comes upon, he never gives up. As I said before he uses suspense and fear on all his enemies, so most of the time he’s not seen during combat, he usually surprises his enemy but before he does, he always makes them scared, makes them fear what will come next. My favorite color is black and that’s the color he dresses in, to be sneakier, it plays a huge role in his suspense. One of my favorite things about him is his bat suit, most of the time when he fights everything he needs is usually in there and that’s pretty impressive, imagine people had a thing like that in real life? Batman is favorite superhero because he doesn’t lose. No matter what happens in a battle between anyone, he never gives up. He always finds a way to defeat his enemy and save Gotham every single time. I can’t wait to go see his new movie coming out called “Batman vs Superman”. Two of the world’s greatest superhero’s ever created battle it out, and it’s going to be really exciting watching how it all plays out. Let’s be honest though, we all know who’s going to win at the end of the day.

CWP 102 Post 1 : Meet Glo

I look at writing as expressing yourself and to keep everything real all the time, every time. I’m not like everybody else who just goes with the flow, but also don’t attentional try to be different. All my actions and everything I do are for me. How I dress, carry myself, talk, think and especially write is me. I am not easily influenced and can never be pressured into doing anything I don’t want. I love music, mostly rap and R&B. My favorite rapper is A$AP ROCKY, because I like his flow, what he raps about, and how he focuses more about his lyrics then beats. Always Strive And Prosper is what A$AP stands for and I’m down with that 100%. I also like basketball and watch a lot of it on tv, my favorite team is the Oklahoma City Thunder, and my favorite player is Kevin Durant. Many people say that their favorite player is Lebron James. In my eyes he is a tremendous player, he really is, but his whole thinking process and how he goes about things is just wrong to be honest. He’s a great player but I just don’t respect him. Kevin Durant on the other hand is a player that I came to respect and love the way he plays. He in my eyes is the most un-guardable player in the NBA, and with his return this season is going to be a problem for every other team in the NBA. Could also be the next MVP. Throughout this course I look to take my writing to the next level. From looking like a college student to looking more like a professional writer. I hope for in this course that we get to do a lot of discussions in class. I think that’s a great way to get to know people and what they think. Yes there are many topics that we could discuss in class but I also would like for the topics to be interesting were the whole class could be involved in, nothing too boring were only like three people in the whole class are speaking on the issue. We got to pick issues and topics that could have everybody in the class arging and debating for a whole class period. That wouldn’t be Lit? Hopefully my first post for CWP 102 wasn’t boring and I look forward to this semester and this class.

First Glo-mester & Now

Im glad that my freshman year is coming to an end. It was a long journey but I survived, and I’m happy that I did. Back in high school, senior year, a lot of peers and teachers thought that me and my group of friends wouldn’t even make it to college. They always looked down on us and never believed in us. My whole not to this day are all in college and doing well. We definitely proved them wrong and I can’t wait to go home and here about their first year college and tell them about mine as well. Anyway, my freshman year hear was very hard in the beginning. I wasn’t use to all this work and I didn’t know to manage my time that good in the beginning. My first semester, was a disaster. It showed me that college and high school are to different places. It showed me that nobody’s going to force you to do anything you’re not committed to want to succeed in. There’s no more calling home to tell your parents what you’re doing wrong. It’s either you do what you’re supposed to do or you fail. Also first semester I would stay up really late then the next morning always struggle to get up especially for my 7:00 class. I also had a 3 hour class at 6:00 every Monday, and that was the blow because who’s really trying in a 3 hour class that late. Coming to the end of that semester, we got to make our schedules for next semester, and I made my schedule perfect. I made all my classes start no earlier than 11:00, and to me that’s perfect. That was for every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Tuesdays, and Thursdays my days start at 3:00 which is even better so I can sleep in. I also this semester, got all my homework done right when I got it, it really helped me with a lot with time, because if get everything out the way right when I get it, I will have a lot more time to do other things like study, or socialize. I also relized if you don’t get it out the way off rip, then you’re going to put it off, or forget about it until the last second and then it just doesn’t get done, or if it does then it’s not good work. When you don’t get your work done then that’s not a Glo time at all. #GLO

serenity115 I was reading your post about how are starting to get Tumblr down pact and how it’s starting to become easy for you. I WAS GOING TO REBLOG IT BUT, I don’t know how to do it for your page. I was going to talk about how it was hard for me in the begging but it’s actually starting to get easy for me ad it comes natural now to me. I have now came to the conclusion that I don’t know shit about Tumblr because I don’t know how to re-blog you at all, but I guess I got to get back on Tumblr and practice some more. Your post I wanted to blog was good, and GLo’d up but I guess I’m not on this post smh, keep doing your thang doe.
