Hope, it’s a funny word. It’s a belief in something even when it seems impossible.

I enjoyed spending time making this hypothetical, the pixel art, the drawings. It was all something made with hope strewn and plucked into it. I hope that Rouxls Kaard gets a top hat at some point, and I hope that weatherkaard gets another chance.

Do I truly think these would really happen? No, no I don’t.

But at least there was a time where I had hope.

With Chapter Five coming soon I must wrap this up and wait for whats next to come.

I can’t wait to see what new adventure awaits. Even if none of my favorite characters show up.

I wonder how serious other people view their selfships. I know that I personally describe how I feel as semi-serious.

Basically, what I mean by that is that I do view these characters as my partners. However, I do recognize that they are fictional and thus can not love me back truly. They bring me comfort and an out lit to explore emotions I don't typically get to feel (such as romantic love). I also do this for fun! I find selfshipping very, very fun.

We view our selfships as very serious and also real. We use the term NF/O (non-fictional other) because as a system we often introject or soulbond with our favorite characters so they can communicate with us via some way like mentally or spiritually and it just ends up feeling very real to the shipper. We don't do it for fun but like genuinely we'd probably be dead if it weren't for them looking out for us and being there to comfort. At the same time we had to learn that not just exclusively "fictional" characters can do this, the brain-made headmates and IRL people can too C:

Honestly though, still feels like we can only safely explore our emotions in a fictional/internal setting. And a lot of us are just fine the way we are like that.
