Hi! I’m back! (Sorta.)

I feel out of playing during most of the pandemic, but I got Cottage Living now and I’m having SO MUCH fun. I’m also really excited for the high school pack.

To catch up: Cloud (my Gen 2 heir, top right) graduated college and tried being a teacher. But he got tired of his mundane life and quit, moving into a rundown farm with the farmhand (Julien, left).

And that’s where we are now. I’m glad to be back.

I just really wanted a simple high school build so… I decided to make one!

Willow Creek High School

First floor: chess area, sitting area, principal’s office, gym (including weight room and showers), library, and cafeteria with outside eating.

Second floor: music class, art class, computer class, one regular classroom, and access to the roof ;)

Outdoors: soccer field with bleachers, greenhouse, and a stage.

Place with MOO. Lot is CC-Free and has been Playtested.

Lot Size: 50x50

Packs Used: Discover University, Seasons, Cats and Dogs, City Living, Get Together, Get To Work, Parenthood, Holiday Stuff. *Packs Also Used But Not Required:* Realm of Magic (for the exterior paint, the floor of the greenhouse, and the fountain in the quad. So, I’d say not required if you want to just change those three things), Jungle Adventure (for a trophy case), Dine Out (for the chalkboards in the art and computer room), Bowling Night Stuff (for a trophy in the trophy case), Outdoor Retreat (for a cooler on the roof.)

I have been hesitant to make this post for awhile because I don’t really want to put all my stuff out there…and I won’t put all of it…but I’m in a sticky situation right now and could use some help.

I’m a trans, jewish person looking to relocate from my city because of an abusive ex partner who has been making my life hell and will continue to. He’s done things like have multiple people contact me on his behalf, blocked my dog license from being approved, has kept me from getting jobs, etc. I don’t feel safe. I have been trying to relocate for over a year to get away and I finally have an opportunity now. But it’s expensive to get there.

I have 2 jobs and I’m trying my best to absorb as many relocation costs as possible but the costs are increasing and my support sources are tapped out at the moment and I just need a bit of help…I feel a lot of shame for having to ask again but until I find another option I’m not sure what to do.

I also am a graphic designer with years of experience in brand design if anyone needs those services or knows someone who does I would be happy to provide them in exchange for donations.

Hijabi Sims

Dear The Sims Community please hear me out!

As a Muslim Hijabi woman, I’d rather have no representation at all than misrepresentation.

Believe me, I never cared about having hijabs in the game, I never felt the need to see myself represented in The Sims ever, but now that there IS a hijab I wish that everyone who uses it uses it right.

A hijab is an outfit that has to be not revealing and loose, it has to cover all skin and hair, except the face, the hands and maybe the feet.

Some hijabis do reveal their forearms, a bit of their hair, maybe ankles, or wear tight clothes, but that’s it! If you ever reveal the chest, the knees, the arms, or the hair, we’re no longer talking about hijabs. I can’t stress this enough.
