Was admittedly debating on posting this because it is somewhat personal but I really love it so yeet

Moreso for him (Headspace) and not me- Focusing on his feelings and- admittedly- inability to properly mourn Desolas, who was very much a large driving force in his life. He had always blamed himself for his brothers death, and his own 'end' and revival was enough for him to believe his brother never passed on peacefully and remained a looming shadow. Sarens version of 'grief' was to never fully grieve at all, and it haunts him- even though Desolas was with him every step of the way, watching and guiding how he could.

//Made the same way the 'trail cam' piece was made, just a single mixing brush and all! These are not easy to make lmao, it took me like 3 tries to get his face right and that was after I did it on the wrong layer the first time Translation is approximate from a single source though seemed accurate compared to where I found the song, I don't have much to go off of other than it's Norwegian mixed with some Old Norse. But it clicked with him really hard and this... helped him a bit. The blood streaks are, of course, in the pattern of Desolas' own colony tattoos, and the albino raven is to both represent himself and the spirituality of it all.

Also this is just a REALLY good fucking song and im urging people to listen, its damn near hypnotic and I love it//

I'm not at all active in the community here on tumblr for reasons but I saw @thatwildwolfart make babies for the Mass Effect beans, saw it was a small trend, and immediately had to hop in quick because I've been wanting an excuse to do it-

And of course I needed to doodle my baby boy Saren <3

...Ok, maybe he's not a BABY baby, but still tiny. Maybe around 1 or so?

The fluffiest lil albino chick you ever did see, rivaling out Calliope for smallness and overall cute. And his favorite varren plushie, of course! <3

Very much joined the headcanon that turian chicks are fluffy, but Saren specifically was like... mega fluff. His eyes also haven't fully figured themselves out due to the albinism, so his pupils were a bit funky and his actual eye color was a bit more pale which most likely affected his vision for a bit. I also headcanon that he was a Spacer baby, which I think would help explain the lack of colony tattoos, and was then shipped off to live with/be raised by Desolas at some point following the death of their parents. :D Anyway he's an adorable little guy and I love him so much and I very much enjoyed doodling him~ Also, no, I will not be drawing baby Cam. For one they've got like... at least 20 years between them so I can't really draw them together, and also I really just don't fancy drawing human babies. I was debating on blep or no blep but I thought blep would be cuter, and I was right. uwu

An… 'AU'?? Kinda thing? Where the Red String is real. As per usual, everyone has one, with maybe a few exceptions, and normally both individuals were able to see the connection. Only problem is, only Cam could see it. And you could imagine the sheer terror when they saw Saren for the first time, and witnessed the dull, frayed end connected to him. Of course the thing strengthens once he's back, not that they know why until they find him again (in which he can also finally see it himself), but the simple idea of them going through ME1 and that ending is enough for it to be a tragedy in and of itself. I love them so much.
