"Could I at least come with?" Cole pleads and you give him a confused look.
"What are you, some sort of anxious puppy?" You tease softly. "We'll both be fine, Cole. I promise."
"What if you get hurt?" Cole asks. "I need to be there to make sure things are alright."
"Do... you not trust my friends, Cole?" You ask cautiously.
"Well, uh... no, it's not that! I just think you'd be so much better off here-"
"Cole... why are you being so manipulative about this? I'm going to be fine. I don't need you looking over my shoulder." You glare, pulling your packed bag towards you before heading towards the door. You only pause when Cole blocks your way by shifting his position.
"Manipulation? No, dear, I'm just encouraging you!" Cole forces a grin, he just wants to stop the burning.
"Move, Cole." You push against him. "I'm not going to listen to you trying to justify this!"
Cole quietly murmurs an apology before shoving you back in your room. You stumble and nearly lose your balance as Cole continues to block your door. You stare at him in disbelief.
"Look, maybe I just have a feeling... that something bad will happen if you go with them? Trust me... I'm keeping you here because I care!" Cole sputters reasons at you, hoping to convince you. Maybe he can make thing convincing if he... hurts your friends later.
He hates that thought.
"There's something wrong with you, Cole...." You whisper while Cole still tries to appear comforting.
He knows you're right... but he hates the jealousy burning in him.
He just hopes you'll do this one thing for him and stay here... just this once... or maybe forever?
"I just need you to stay." Cole pleads once again. "I don't want you to leave me alone... please forgive me but..."
Cole closes the door behind him and comes closer, causing you to back away in fear.
There are some days that his little love just makes him so mad, that it gets to his head and into his heart; her screams echoing the halls as he drags her into dusty bedroom and locks up the steel collar around her neck - her pleas falling on deaf ears.
It would go on for days before eventually, it'll go silent. Finally, peace and quiet. The most fun part of it all is how clingy his wife turns once he comes back to visit her; all smiles and wide eyed as she butters him up with the sweetest of words. How could he deny her if she begs that she wants all of his time to be spent with her?

Wukong is still ALIVE in this AU, he never died and D.O just became his legacy bearer... Skip to Wukong introducing D.O to Yuánhóu (because Twisted Arm Gibbon are friends with Wukong). Considering that Wukong's alive, D.O pleads demands to Wukong that he marries Yuánhóu and since he's friends with Twisted Arm Gibbon, he's able to persuade him (think of like, those scenes when two old guys discuss about the marriage of their children because it's like, a way to show that their daughter is in capable hands)
But Wukong just nopes out - smugly and mockingly too - telling D.O that there's no chance that Twisted Arm Gibbon will let him marry his only daughter. Yuánhóu DOES like D.O but all feelings are gone the moment D.O kills Twisted Arm Gibbon and forcefully weds with her. Wukong on the other hand, watches with amusement and pride (because in this life, it's either kill or be killed) so he's happy that D.O is taking in his path.
Adding on, the previous Yandere! D.O artwork is basically the aftermath of Yuánhóu trying to escape the estate when D.O is out. Wukong was there but he let her escape, because he knows D.O will dish out a perfect punishment to her once he caught up to her
In a way the differences between a Yandere Wukong and Yandere D.O to me is that Yan! Wukong plays around with his darling, let them punch him, kick him and run off whenever they want. In the end, he'll be always to find them. It doesn't matter if it takes him days or years, he'll find you regardless. Yan! D.O is stricter, firmer in his stances. He's quick to put punishments like binding your legs and arms together just so you won't run. He wants to break you, make you entirely dependent on him.
Ngl, I'm thinking about doing an analysis on the TAS villains. ALL of the TAS villains with the same kind of reader.
It's just that realistically, this is the type of reader that would be the most likely with how Gotham is.
Honestly, I have no idea on why he would initially be interested in a kid, if it wasn't for a bad reason. Not saying that yandere isn't bad, but more so that, I can't see him stalking a kid or anything for any morally good reason.
But, in the interest of fanfiction, we shall say that this reader is of the 'uncaring' variety, much like my Riddler (also TAS) reader.
So perhaps, Reader initially met him in a dark alley, so of course, without realizing, he pulls out a gun and threatens you. He was shocked with himself that he would do that to a kid, but on the other side, no loose ends.
So, he flips the coin. But reader tells him that it's not a 50/50 chance like he has always believed. {It truly is not, by the by, it is ever so slightly tilted to the heavier side, making it a 51/49 chance.} This catches him off guard and he fumbles, losing the coin.
The two-toned man rumbles to you. "Go ahead. Leave. Take your chance and live." You stand up from your spot, having fallen from the spook of running into one of Gotham's infamous villains. "Cool. Thanks man." You walk off, feeling his stares, but letting it slide off your back.
Why would you walk from someone who is a villain? A scary person who could kill you, simply for existing in the same area as him?
And with that, you sealed your fate. He couldn't get your words out of his head. Was everything he believed in a lie? Was everything he's doing for naught? With that simple sentence, you broke his entire world in half. He needs something new to focus on. Too bad it had to be you.
Without even needing the coin to decide, he knows that he has to see you again. You've haunting him, it's so stupid that you've been doing this to him. WHY! Why are you haunting, why are you stuck in his every waking thought?!
Needless to say, he's a very quick yandere. I mean, he already has an obsession, it just moved to you.
I wouldn't say he's quick to kidnap. To me, he seems like more of a stalking type at first, but then, when he goes to flip his coin again to see what to do tonight, he thinks of you. He thinks of how you interacted with him and your words get stuck in his head all the time.
Would he be prepared for you? No. Not really. I mean, it's not like he sees himself as a dad either, it's more of just... He needs you there. You need to be there for him. His obsession with the coin flipped over to you, and now you're the one reason he's still here, able to articulate his words, be alive, and live his life.
Batman and Robin wouldn't be able to help you out either, for he wouldn't let any sign of you actually affecting him show, unless...
Set the scene: Two Face is robbing a bank, he flips the coin and right as it lands in his open palm, you walk by, unflinching at the alarms going off or anything. you. You. YOU. He drops the coin, everyone who knows him even a little bit is shocked at that. Why would he ever let it drop? Everyone knows that he's obsessed with it.
That would be the only sense in which Batman and Robin would ever find out of an obsession with you. The way he pauses when someone says something that sound like your name, the way that he purposefully selects the spots away from your home so you're less likely to be caught in the crossfire...
I can see Batman connecting the dots, but at that point, its too late.

I set apart Harley and Joker because they would be different depending on if they are together or not, hence why there are two versions of each. One alone, and one together.
Harley: See, her characteristics when alone would be, Impulsive, Delusional, Sadistic, and Clingy. Sadistic and Clingy are supposed as opposing forces, but it's actually not true. Her sadism comes from the fact that she doesn't mind see you get hurt trying to escape, {and even slightly enjoys it}. Her clinginess comes from never having this feeling before as a kid, or even towards a kid, and her being confused, even a little scared of this feeling. She doesn't try to find out more about you, she's delusional after all, she truly thinks that you're just like her. Her delusions are something that you will just have to deal with, as she completely believes that you love her too. To break her delusions would end with Reader being harmed physically, or to end up locked alone in a room, waiting for her to open up the door and let you back out. She's impulsive in that she is quick to kidnap, not even knowing your name at that point, but knows she wants to be your Momma. She doesn't stalk you, she's too impatient for that, but she keeps you in her mind. The next time she sees you, she attempts to kidnap you. She would fight Joker for you. She's not always going to be there for you to be considered her 'kid', nor will she truly take care of you fully. Not enough for a developing child. "Momma's here!~ Come here baby, Mommy got some new jewelry for her baby. Just let Mommy take care of you!"
Joker: Yikes. Good luck. Sadistic, Impulsive, Possessive, some of the worst traits to have. He would be fully willing to push you into acid like he fell into, if it meant having you stick around with him. He would not entertain the idea of you even having other parents. Not even Harley could attempt to take you away from him. He's always been shown to be impulsive, and possessive, with Episode 47, season 1, when Harley teams with Poison Ivy. Imagine that, but much much worse. He would refuse to let anyone get close to you. He would feel nothing but glee when you try to escape, only to be harmed by his hyena's. He found a kid {you} and decided to try to poison you against Batman, quickly kidnapping you and taking you home. Finding your uncaring attitude intriguing and hilarious. He will constantly take you places, only to kill or threaten the people who try to help you, and then take you back home where he tries to get you to help with a plan. He's gritting his teeth together, fed up with you refusing to help him. "Listen here kid. You're going to help me with my next thing, or your other-family says beddy bye."
Harley + Joker: Impulsive is the one thing that the two share from their alone counterparts. (Surprising, considering what they shared, but I'll explain.) Self-Indulgence, is the next characteristic that they have. Despite all that they share, they bounce off of each other with jealousy, causing their Sadism to in fact, go away, because they are busy trying to poison you against the other. Terms like: "Come here suga', Mommy's got you some brand new jewlery, did Daddy get you some jewlery? Well, it's not as shiny as Mommy's is it? or "Doll, did Mommy get you some cheap-o jewlery? Well, good thing that Daddy got some candy for you!" are commonplace and you half-way expect it to be quite honest. They often fight and make-up, before fighting the next day and making-up the next. Wash, Rinse, and Repeat. As much as they hate each other and the way that the other parent raises you, they hate the alternative to leaving, or making the other susceptible for Batman to take you away from their loving grasp. "But who do you really love, sweetie? Mommy, or Daddy? It better be me.
Killer Croc: He is Clingy, Obsessive, Overprotective, and Self-Indulgent. His fear of being inadequate and being seen as nothing but a monster, [which is why he does crimes. If you see me as a monster, maybe I am a monster. Maybe I'll show you what a monster looks like.] is why he is all of those traits. He fears that the one person who is indifferent to him / nice to him [Reader, or You,] would be eventually changed to fear him by Batman. Killer Croc would be the type to baby you, even dumb-ifying you if that makes sense. His fear of inadequacy makes him put restraints on you, even once we're past the escape phase, putting gloves on you, being Overprotective so much, because he wants to keep his little baby safe. He sees you as a 'baby' because of your indifference to him being a mutant of sorts, and sees that indifference as naivety. He craves your approval and needs you to need him to do everything for you, hence, his baby-ing. Just let him control your every action and love him for it, okay?
Scarecrow: He is Impulsive, Manipulative, Obsessive, and just a bit Sadistic. He's less likely to experiment on such a nice darling who knows that he was a professor or wants to learn more about what he taught, but punishment wise... He's not afraid to use fear gas. He doesn't want to use fear gas on you, more complacent to study his own psychology, and why he's obsessed with you, and he can't study that if the subject is missing his child... He's impulsively manipulative in the way that he's immediately jumping to a plan to manipulate Reader into coming into his grasp. He just wants to put you in a little container and watch everything you do, just to study you like a little pet. Just make sure you don't run away, m'kay?
Penguin: He is very Clingy, Overprotective, and Impulsive. He's been betrayed over and over again by people he thought he could trust, been kicked out of the society he tries and desperately wishes to join, so when he finds a darling who gives no shits, and cares not for what he is, so long as he is a good person? He impulsively falls into a platonic love, wishing to become the parent he wishes he could have, and what kind of parent would he be if he didn't protect his kiddo? He wouldn't let you out at all, fearing the upper-class or BATMAN might get their insufferable claws into you, sinking fear of him into you. Not quite like Killer Croc, because Killer Croc is fearful because he is seen as a monster, Penguin is scared that you'll learn of his crimes and become afraid of him, and that would simply break his heart. As soon as he has an opportunity to take you away from the society, he will kidnap you.

This pregnancy was most likely not planned and because of that Jamil is going to panic, albeit on the inside. He already has to take care of s/o, Kalim and now a baby, his baby none the less?
Now that's quite the hassle.
He is aware that having a baby will drain a lot of funds if not prepared properly and his already tight schedule will have to shift to accomedate to the baby's needs. He will stock up on baby products quickly and starts reading parenting books in his free time in hopes of maybe getting a better grasp at the sitation. This entire thing is just so foreign to Jamil since he usually has everything on a tight leash, but this? This was like a punch in the gut.
He sometimes may act cold and even treat the unborn baby as a nusiance but his love and affection will rapidly grow for the little one. Just seeing the way his s/o glows like a perfectly cut diamond is a sight for sore eyes and her ever growing stomach does make Jamil melt. He will often just randomly put his warm hand on s/o's belly, in a vain attempt to maybe understand his baby.
Regardless of that, s/o isn't allowed to do any physical activity, period. Their plate has even more food then regular and Jamil makes sure that his s/o is always comfortable in her own skin. He also begins to see the benifical sides of having a shared child - s/o cannot leave him. She'll be drained from the process of birth alone and Jamil known all to well that s/o could never leave behind her baby. It all turns out pretty okay in the end and the chances of his kid being a yandere are slim since Jamil is a master at hiding his emotions.

I haven't read the whole JTTW books but I do know right after Wukong survives the furnace, he tries to overthrow the Jade Emperor.
What if he actually won the bet with Buddha and became the Jade Emperor? We'll that is what this AU is! Not gonna lie I had no idea what Wukong would look like as the Jade Emperor so this is what I came up with. I also realized I'm terrible with backgrounds.
