āOnce [a cat] has given its love, what absolute confidence, what fidelity of affection! It will make itself the companion of your hours of work, of loneliness, or of sadness. It will lie the whole evening on your knee, purring and happy in your society, and leavingĀ the company of creatures of its own society to be with you.ā

To see a world in a grain of sand
And heaven in a wild flower,
Hold infinity in the palm of your hand and eternity in an hour.
-William Blake.
A few days back, a stroll through the park brought my attention to this fierce wild flower, which was surrounded by only seedless, fruitless and flowerless bushes...It had no reason to have blossomed there with its perfect hues and texture and standing out, yet it did.
Its easier to be someone when everyone around you is similar, but its very difficult to be yourself when youāre surrounded by people who wonāt grow, who wonāt let you grow!
This little fierce flower on a random afternoon, showed me the vibrance of standing out and that sometimes its worth being in thrones if you can add your color to the world! š

In rivers, the water that you touch is the last of what has passed and the first of that which comes; so with present time. - Leonardo Da Vinci.
Everytime I go back to the river, it breathes new inspiration, new meaning, new life into me.
It pulls you in with a frivolous gravity. It takes you to a world you cannot fathom in its absence. Water is life!
A bookshelf is as particular to its owner as are his or her clothes; a personality is stamped on a library just as a shoe is shaped by the foot." -Alan Bennett

It is He who spread out the earth, placed firm mountains and rivers on it, and made two of every kind of fruit; He draws the veil of night over the day. There truly are signs in this for people who reflect.
