as someone who has been a fan of mark for the 9 out of 10 years that he has essentially been active, it's an odd feeling learning about his departure from nct and therefore sm ent. mark has been known as the idol thats in every single nct unit imaginable /hj (the jokes that he would join wayv etc). as someone who has debuted 5 times (nct u, nct 127, nct dream, superm, solo) and accomplished so so so much in his 10 years as an idol, i understand why he would choose to part ways at the end of his contract.

as a fan, it's a bittersweet feeling. i want mark to finally be able to rest from his jampacked schedule as an idol. i want what's best for someone whom i look up to so much. yet, a part of me is still sad. mark has been such an integral part of both nct as a group and nct as a sound. him leaving nct feels like a both a new direction and end for nct. part of me worries that this is only the start of the end to a group i genuinely thought was gonna last forever. especially, since a lot of the members contracts are expiring soon. but either way i wish for only the best for mark and every other member of nct.

mark, i am so glad to have met you as an artist and known you through nct :) can't wait for whatever you will do next whether as a musician or just as a non-celebrity. i will always be rooting for you, and i know that other czennies will do the same <3

Baggy Jeans-okay first of all the mv is absolutely wild. im like gagged. my jaw was dropped the whole time. probably screamed more times than i'd like to admit.
