The thing about this is that sculptures like these in art history were for the male gaze. Photoshop a phone to it and suddenly she’s seen as vain and conceited. That’s why I’m 100% for selfie culture because apparently men can gawk at women but when we realize how beautiful we are we’re suddenly full of ourselves…
Girls don’t let anyone tell you loving yourself is vanity.
“You painted a naked woman because you enjoyed looking at her, put a mirror in her hand and you called the painting “Vanity,” thus morally condemning the woman whose nakedness you had depicted for you own pleasure.” ― John Berger, Ways of Seeing

Sorry, but you looked better before, cause your current shape is too skinny and too boyish. Look, how your lower thighs are thinner than your knees…you look more weighing 50kg than 60kg and then the ugly gap bettween your skinny upper thighs. But its important, you do like your body…
That is an awful and shitty thing to say to a person who has achieved their goals. Just because a persons goals are not the same as yours, or they wish to have a different physique doesn’t mean it is acceptable to criticize and cut them down. Body shaming is shitty enough but literally picking apart her after photo is just cruel. She is probably very proud and happy with her progress (as she should be) so who are you to tell her she shouldn’t be happy with it? You say “its important you do like your body” it is, and it is completely irrelevant whether you like it or not - so keep your rude statements to yourself.
You have been following me for quite some time and I am sure you have seen at least one of my posts regarding my stance on body acceptance and positivity for EVERYONE. I am very much against body shaming in general. Not to mention I’ve touched on the subject of cutting down others for their weightloss/fitness achievements numerous times. Think before you speak. You are not one to tell someone how they should look or whether they looked better before/now. Their choices regarding their own appearance does not require your personal opinion, and I think a rule of thumb is to just not be a complete jerk to people for no good reason.
Sounds like something Ron Swanson would say!
Seriously though, if you don’t like breakfast food, WHY NOT? It doesn’t make sense! The promise of a hearty breakfast is one of the very few things that can get me out of bed before 10 AM.
