Just throwing this out here but do you guys think that invisible string could be Taylor telling us her and Joe are married. Kind of like the invisible locket metaphor

People call getting married “tying the knot.” The whole song she’s talking about tying him to her with an invisible string. The invisible string could be that they don’t wear rings in public to protect their privacy. At the end of the song she says “one single thread of gold tied me to you.” Wedding rings are usually gold bands.

I think it could be about them getting married. I know there’s all the character arcs but she also talked about how she mixed her stories in with them. That’s just my thoughts

I think the best part of that video though was him rambling about his debt and Taylor then suggesting financial advice

1) it shows how fed up with this conversation she is

2) reminds everyone that she actually is a boss not just a bimbo

3) reminds Kanye he did not in fact make her famous (her insanely successful albums and tours did that for her)

4) speaks to her character

As someone who always believed Taylor was telling the truth from the beginning I’m happy the full conversation came out and it’s not just the edited one Kim released.

I hate that Taylor had to suffer through feeling like the whole world was against her to the point where she considered ending her career.

But I also hate that this is dragging up once again drama between Taylor and Kanye. I’m sure Taylor is happy that he’s getting the karma he deserves but I don’t think we should be trying to cancel him and bringing all the old drama back. Taylor told the truth, he didn’t. That’s all.

i think you are in love is one of the most romantic songs taylor has ever written because of the simplicity of it. it’s not a loud and theatrical songs filled with grand gestures and dramatic proposals. it’s soft and slow and gentle. it’s about the little things that make a relationship work, the parts that make things stable, the day to day romance. coffee at midnight and burnt toast on sundays and your photo at their desk. it’s about stability, and trust, and love, and allowing someone to know you whole and be your best friend and them see the deepest parts of yourself. because you know they’ll love you anyway.
