Dragon rider!Nat & Dragon healer!Misty

DRAGON RIDER!NAT WHO loves her dragon to absolute death and when she gets an injured wing immediately takes her to the nearest, and apparently best, dragon healer she can find. The closest also as no way is she making her fly on a hurt wing.

DRAGON HEALER!MISTY WHO actually has not helped that many dragons, especially not full sized ones, but puts all her work aside the moment Nat comes in.

DRAGON RIDER!NAT WHO never lets herself be vulnerable in front of others but immediately comforts her dragon when she makes pained noises whilst being examined. Who is almost the most stressed out she’s ever been, trapped without a way of leaving and her dragon injured, it’s like a nightmare.

DRAGON HEALER!MISTY WHO can’t help but be distracted whilst trying to do her job by Nat carefully stroking her dragons scales, resting her forehead on the side of it’s neck whilst stoking her thumb across it’s scales murmuring comforting words everytime it makes a pained noise and flaps it’s wing.

DRAGON RIDER!NAT WHO tries not to show weakness but can’t sleep at all that night and insists on Misty going home to rest after working all day whilst she stays there with her dragon.

DRAGON HEALER!MISTY WHO doesn’t go home and instead makes them both hot drinks and sits with Nat next to the fire so she doesn’t have to be alone.

Nat would have picked up the phone, vehemently denied being friends with Misty, stomped into the bar while mumbling resentfully about how crazy Misty is, then wrapped Misty's arm around her shoulder, supported her to the car, put her jacket on her to keep her warm, taken her home, put her into bed, made her drink some water, left painkillers on the nightstand for the inevitable hangover, threatened Misty with all manner of things if she didn't promise to keep lying on her side in case she threw up, closed the curtains so the early morning sun wouldn't wake her up and gone home, woke up wondering if Misty is ok.

And she'd STILL deny any claim that she cared about Misty.
