any villain born after 2012 can't big bad... all they know is twist reveal , get shipped on tumblr, reform, be comic relief , have sad backstory & lie.
trying to create an ebay account to sell smthn and tell me why I can't use my REAL LEGAL LAST NAME because it includes "dick" which ebay considers offensive
BUT THEN IN THEIR MISREPRESENTATION POLICY THEY SAY YOU CAN'T COLLECT MONEY TO A BANK ACCOUNT THAT'S NOT IN YOUR BUSINESS OR LEGAL NAME. BUT MY LEGAL NAME INCLUDES DICK, WHICH YOU CONSIDER OFFENSIVE.
the sanitization of the internet is so fucking stupid we live in the stupidest time
y'all ever heard of N-Z from kirby 64

Anyone who tells you you are only safe among people exactly like you is a fascistic liar.
My rapist was nonbinary and bi. My deeply Lutheran grandma was the first person to fully accept me as trans in my primarily liberal athiestic/agnostic family. Years ago my social life was ruined by another trans masculine person who intentionally destroyed all of my close friendships. One of my current closest friends is a cishet guy who has a friend group that is almost entirely populated of queer people because a bunch of his friends have come out around him since high school.
Fascists want you scared and isolated and alone. The way to combat that is to trust other people. And yeah. Trusting other people is vulnerable and can lead to hurt, but sometimes the people you trust blindly based on identity will be the ones who hurt you the most and the ones you dismiss blindly based on identity will be the ones who can keep you the safest.
anyone else get so excited that God loves us? Like oh my gosh he loves me!!
He loves me!!!! :D he loves meeeeee :3 🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷
Ahhh I’m so excited hehehe!!!
I really hate to say this but like; networking with rich people and convincing them you're cool and competent and have great ideas is actually possibly the single most classic way to get out of poverty that doesn't involve sharp rocks and skulls.
Its not even rich ppl...networking at ur uuuuh workplace will get u farther than ur skills. Its literally the most reliable method of clawing ur way into better and higher paying positions...
I think if your justification for doing something is "well rich people are out there literally eating babies as we speak" you just have to accept you're not standing on the strongest argumentative ground, you know?
"[ABSURD HYPOTHETICAL] is true, therefore [PETTY ASSHOLERY] is totally justified" are we seeing the problems here, class?
Your honor, I know my client was shoplifting, but you don't understand, the court system sometimes fails to convict murderers, which is very relevant right Now,
don’t worry about it
"but what she drew is illegal in that country!"
The laws are performative horseshit designed to make you feel good while the lawmakers and enforcers fuck real life children and get away with it.

Yup. Hell, if you're new in town or just never left your house before, I can recommend going to church to find jobs and meet people. Great networking opportunities at church.
>Great networking opportunities at church.
if you can stomach the coffee at least..........
Go to church and make better coffee to start networking more effectively
Fandom Problem #14,825:
getting real sick of people in fandom using the words "minor" and "child" interchangeably. a 17 year old is not a child. they're a teenager. age brackets exist for a reason. sure, there are spaces and conversations out there that are not appropriate for teenagers, that's undeniably true, but stop lumping them in with actual children. teenagers are more developed mentally than a lot of you give them credit for and it's this infantilizing mentality that has led to the whole "ummm well i'm a minor, so i can do no wrong" nonsense.
Could you imagine making your own movie, making like 20 million dollars, and then going “awesome, now to install a DVD duplicating machine in my house and personally burn copies by hand like a medieval monk preserving sacred texts”
Like I need people to understand the mental image here of a multimillionaire internet creator personally overseeing DVD production in his own house like he’s running an underground bootleg operation out of a basement in 2007.
It’s weirdly charming because there’s something very “old internet” about it, this energy of “I made a thing, and now I will physically hand it to people myself like an artisan at a craft fair.”
The man really said: “The future of cinema is me standing next to a humming disc burner at 2am”
And like... I can't help but believe he's onto something
I think the reason this feels so radical is because we're so used to everything coming from huge corporations that any smaller operations are sorted into novelties.
We don't really see "garage companies" grow into something bigger on the regular. I'm pretty sure most of the ones in living memory were people seizing the online shopping space when the internet first hit the mainstream, and a lot of those had big investment capital as well.
So seeing someone climb from bottom up ends up feeling "weird" or even "wrong" to us, because we're so used to untouchable corporate monoliths dominating industries uncontested.
It's a hopeful sign that free markets aren't completely dead, but this is only happening because entertainment media isn't (yet) so tightly regulated that newcomers are shut out completely.
BTW, in the 80's, professional software was being sold on the same kind of floppy disks people bought blank. I don't see any reason the same can't be done with SD cards today. (I get that USB is more versatile, but SD cards are so much more compact and portable.)
