Before Remus Lupin had ever heard the word werewolf uttered he knew that wolves were the villain in the story. Wolves were big, they were bad, they were killers, it was just how it was. It did not matter that he was a pup. All pups grow up to be monsters some day. The truth was wolves were monsters. The awful truth was that it was his destiny, to be the monster in someone else’s story.

The scene is a HC of mine that Remus pre-werewolf would have loved the idea of wolves. It was in his name and what little boy won't love the idea of being a wolf! And so baby Remu is consuming all this content about his favourite animal, unknowingly seeing a glimpse into his future and what he will soon become.

finished reading all the young dudes and it was so good and so horrible and it's one of my favourite books and I never want to read anything else and I don't ever want to read it again and it's way too long and I wish it were way longer and reading it was a healing process and now my heart is broken because of this book and I felt like I would never get to the end and I feel like I only started reading it yesterday and it was so happy and so sad and so funny and so horrible I want to kiss this book I want to burn it it's a masterpiece it makes no sense it's life and death and love and friendship and grief and I hate it and I love it I want to re read Harry Potter I never want to read anything other than fanfiction again and I can never read any other wolfstar story and I'll die if I don't read other wolfstar stories this book is so messy and all over the place and at the same time perfectly constructed the pacing is immaculate but no but yes but aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh
