[My sweet people if you need tw in the tags, please tell me and I will add it. I'm talking about LGBTQ+ community and there is minor mention of sexual/romantic attraction below (not in the good way).]
I said some time ago that I'm not comfortable with telling my opinion on LGBTQ community and I am still not, heh, but I felt like it would be right to say it once, to be honest with all of you, with myself and with my friends here. I didn't want to talk about it, to even have it mentioned in the conversation because I am afraid you'd not want to be friends with me anymore. And it's okay if it's true, im ready.
I want to believe that it's the last time i'd be making post about something that doesn't make anyone happy in the slightest.
I do not support or like this community, I have it filtered and I feel deeply uncomfortable whenever the topic comes.
I am a Christian, and before you say that God didn't say anything about LGBT relationships, I show you a little place in Bible.
For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
and if you read the chapter further, it ends with "commit such things are worthy of death"
I mean no hate, please believe me. I do not hate anyone in this community, as we all are people, as everyone worthy of love and I would personally hug every single one of you who still read this post.
God doesn't say anything against love, obviously. He tells against sexual relationships between two people same gender and/or out of marriage.
I love the story about David and Jonathan in 1 Samuel 18. Jonathan loved David as his own soul yet it was purely platonic. And their story is amazing, you could read it too, heh.. Kind of reminds me of alchemy bros tho
I believe that you can feel attraction to the same gender but it doesn't mean that Its right-
I was in- I was in this relationship before. And yes it was my best friend at that moment and yes I felt happy back then and then it all went downhill because I didn't want to lie, because my feelings went down, feelings, emotions aren't permanent. And I didn't want to ruin either mine or her life because of emotions.
I love emotions, you know this probably more than anyone. But they aren't what life decisions should be based on as they can fade away and left you or someone you care about brokenhearted.
Love is a choice. It's a verb. It's something you do, not feel. And what I mean by "do" is care, forgiveness, hope, trust. You can love your family, your friends strongly and we all know it. But it doesn't mean you- uumm well-
I do not support LGBT community because it mostly based on sexual/romantic attraction. Its circling around feelings, emotions, things that aren't constant, that won't bring you anything true and it focuses on it as if this is the meaning of life.. I do not think that anything about this is right.
And I'm sorry if I just made you sad.
But I really wanted to be honest.
I'm not a perfect person, never going to become one and I have a lot to learn. At least I want to believe I'm a good one. Still a good one.
