Happy 88th Birthday Angela Lansbury! (October 16, 1925)
Birthdays have never been tough for me. Aging simply opens up new pages of possibilities. Age really doesn’t have any bearing on my ability to look forward with joy.

The Last Waltz
She knows him better than anyone else in the world. The hundreds of hours they have spent in physical contact during rehearsal have made her body attuned to his; her body reacts to his movements before her brain can register them, communicates with his body before she can consciously formulate a response. If you can’t see the difference between Albert and Wedgwood, that’s not my problem.
Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers at RKO (1933 - 1939)
Over a period of six years Rogers and Astaire made nine films for RKO. Their talent, charm and chemistry allowed them to become one of the most iconic dance teams in the history of film, and ensured their enduring legacy.
Joel McCrea and Kay Francis in Girls About Town, 1931
Anthony Perkins and Fred Astaire on the set of “On the Beach” (1959)
The only way I know to get a good show is to practice, sweat, rehearse and worry.
