Exactly! Or at least move class outside. I get depressed staying inside this dreary castle all day. It’s bad for my health, really. Besides, now that they’ve taken Quidditch away from us there’s hardly a reason for us to be here anyways.

Honestly, you'd think it would kill them to let us get a bit of fresh air. It definitely is a dark castle. Even with the windows, torches can only do so much. Merlin, don't remind me. I swear, they're taking away all the best parts of being here.

Thats an interesting alternative to a swear word. [She raised an eyebrow]. I had some onions at dinner and wanted to brush my teeth. I'd ask you the same, but its pretty obvious what you're doing. Did you forget your clothes or something?

Well… they are sort of the cause of it. I fell asleep and forgot to set the timer, and one thing led to another… and this is the end product of the chain of unfortunate events. 

I’m only telling you this because you’re the co-founder of our little club, but I promise they don’t taste as bad as they look. I mean, yes, they don’t taste quite like the usual cookie you’d find in stores, but— not as bad as you’d think.

[She laughed lightly]. So they've seen fit to ban you for the time being? Well, I'm sure they'll get over it soon enough, though it sounds pretty hilarious. I guess it's good they don't have fire alarms here.

Perhaps this little fiasco has spawned the greatest, 'not quite like the usual' cookie the world will ever know. If you made them, though, I'll definitely try one. I mean, not as bad as you'd think is better than as bad as- or worse than- you'd think.

That name sounds like something my grandfather would give to one of his sons. Oh yeah, how about Lucy? Does anyone ever call you Lucy, Lucille? Susan’s too much of a goody-goody name for you.

Well, true- maybe some of you are indeed graced with a beautiful heart beneath layers and layers of evil plotting, but admit it- most of those who always play dirty come from the dungeons. Sometimes, bring too driven kind blurs the lines and limits- sometimes you just can’t see how your actions may affect others. Ah, better than my team, you say? The constant quidditch victories from our part must’ve been why you said what you said. Treacle tarts do sound very wonderful, but nope- I can’t indulge it every single time I see one, because that would mean that I have to snuggle into my sweatpants and run to burn it off.

You grandfather? Does that mean you have an uncle named Gerard? Every now and again someone'll call me Lucy, but most people just stick to Lucille. Sometimes Luce or Luc. It definitely is. Susan sounds like the name of a sweet, mild mannered girl. But, you know, the boring kind.

[She grinned]. I mean, I'm certainly not one of them, but you shouldn't count our entire house out, I don't think. It can. I'll admit that much. Though you Gryffindors tend to leave a mess in your wake in your quests for courageous deeds, don't you. Everything in moderation. [She rolled her eyes]. I don't know what you're talking about. That is true, but a little indulgence won't kill you, nor will it require of you to actually exercise a bit.

Pax re-evaluated his very existence, in trying to imagine Lucille with unkempt hair. “That’s so hard to imagine,” he exclaimed, already reaching for her hair. His long fingers worked at dividing it into sections, forming the base of the first plait. “Do you have any pictures? I can’t imagine you as a kid, Lucille. You must have been wild!”

"What can I say? Puberty was good to me. And you know, magic." When she felt his hands threat through her hair, she smiled slightly. "I can't remember the last time I had my hair braided. Hopefully it won't give you too much trouble. Pictures? None that will ever make it to Hogwarts, that's for sure. I don't think I'd use the term 'wild' per se. But I was definitely scrappy."

Oh yeah definitely, my dad would be fascinated if you did. I think he’s dissapointed I don’t fly. Of course I would. I’d take you into York and show you the city and the University where my dad works. The introducing bit would be very short though, I really only know one person besides my parents. There are the other professors, they’re nice. You could meet them.

Well, flying isn't for everyone, though I'd be more than happy to let him look at my broom. It's a pretty old model, but it works. They say a person doesn't need a lot of friends, just good ones. If you like them, I'll like them well enough too.

That seems a funny thing to be disappointed about, especially considering you're a witch and all. I'd be more than happy to show him my broom and such if he wanted, though. It's a Muggle University, right? Well, I'm kind of in the same boat, so that's okay. I'm just excited to see the sights and hang out with you.

No, they wouldn’t mind at all. My parents love it when I bring friends home, they’re very friendly. Oh you can stay as long as you’d like, really. You’d be very welcome at my home. We’ll look at the stars as much as you want.

That sounds really nice. I'd love to have the change to ride my broom at night again without having to worry about being seen or caught. You'd take me to see all of the sights and introduce me to everyone you know, right?

Yes! Oh please come visit me I would love that! I know the perfect place and I live out in the country so we don’t even have to worry about the artificial light like you do in London.

I think it would be very peaceful. The lack of stars is one of the few things I truly hate about the city. Your parents wouldn't mind? It wouldn't be for too long or anything, but I would like to visit you.

Yes! I fully support the idea of high points and stargazing! Even if we don’t get married we should go stargazing!

When school lets out, I'll come visit you, if that's okay because I know it's rude to invite myself places, and we can go for a night ride and look at the stars.

I'm glad you're not wholly opposed. If we got married, we'd have to move somewhere with really high points so we could look at the stars without all the artificial light.
