Normally, Narcissa would not consider herself to be the kind of person who enjoyed going out anywhere, preferring to keep herself locked away and hidden in the confinements of her room. But in France, how could she resist exploring the sights? Her favorite place to end up and a frequent destination for many of the students in Beauxbatons was the French Riviera which had beautiful beaches where the half-Veela girls went to tempt and tease the muggle boys. Narcissa just liked the scenery and atmosphere of it all though she couldnât deny she adored when she caught the French boys staring every now and again.
Everything was the same as it always was during her visits, but when entering the beachside cafĂŠ that she always stopped at, what came as a surprise to her was who she noticed out of the corner of her eye. Lucius was sitting at a table keeping to himself, surprisingly sitting alone and she wondered if she would suddenly see Abraxas appear looking ready for the beach and then immediately she shook that thought right out of her head because nobody needed that image. They hadnât kept in much contact ever since her mother sent her away to Beauxbatons so to see Lucius here of all places when the odds seemed so slim left her in shock, waiting for her brain to process what he was doing there.
She finally managed to get her feet moving so that he didnât turn his head and see her looking like a complete idiot. When she approached, she stopped in front of him, clearing her throat to get his attention since his face was covered by the tall menu in his hands. The way he sat there made her unsure if he actually did notice her and was hiding or if he was just really invested in the what the cafe had to offer and knowing him it could have been either. âExcuse me, do you mind if I join you or are you having an intimate moment with your menu here?â
Paris is a city with which Lucius Malfoy is well acquainted. French was the second language (aside from English) that he'd learned. From a young age, Abraxas had toted his son along to appointments, meetings, and various engagements as an excuse to prolong his sons exposure to eloquence and grandeur of a Parisian lifestyle. A mere sidestep to both Italy, and Spain, where he also had interests and investments. Anyone who knew the young man might not find it surprising that he'd been here now. May not even think it oddly suspicious that he'd been at the exact beach-side cafe that his future wife happened to frequent during time spent in the area. But there wasn't a single person (yet) who'd been privy to the fact that Lucius had been hiding out nearby. That every trip to grab his morning croissant, latte, and paper had been accompanied by probing glances; eyes seeking any object or silhouette that implied the presence of Cissa. The hotel he was staying at, The Peninsula, had all of the amenities he could ever need. Lucius certainly didn't have to fetch his own breakfast, petit fours, or step out for a visit to his masseuse. But each time he'd left the premises, it increased the possibility that he'd see her. (What, you thought he'd pick up a phone and call? You all know better than that.) It so happened that today he'd managed to haul himself out of bed before noon. Last night's 'guest' had been gone early, thanks in part to the very large tip Lucius had paid housekeeping to usher her out before he'd awaken. None of that would negate the fact that he was nursing a giant hangover, but the cool air rolling in off The Seine was kind, and it helped that his sunglasses were well beyond dark enough to combat the sun. Never one to ease away from being hyper-vigilant of his surroundings, the petite frame that danced in and out of his vision would remain far from unnoticed. The delicate paper menu between his fingers soon served as a barrier between his line of sight and the rest of the cafe. He could hardly read the words scrawled across the page, the tinting on his sunglasses and his headache suddenly mixing like oil and water. He felt the air shift around him, and the sudden presence of the youngest Black sister made herself known by clearing her throat. In the grand scheme of things, this is what Lucius had wanted, but in the moment he'd felt both foolish and, frankly, a little nauseous. Narcissa spoke, mocking him lightly as she often did. It didn't bother Lucius in the way that it used to. Her venom affected him differently than it did others. He oft found it to be less bitter than it was engaging. "Ah, Cissa." Finally releasing his grip on the menu, he lowered it from his face and looked up at her through dark glasses, "Fancy meeting you here." Lucius rose from his seat (such a gentleman), gesturing for Cissa to sit, "What brings you to... Oh, yes. Beauxbatons, right? I'd almost forgotten."

What the fuck. Silk. Obviously. Are you blind?

Booze.
amycus or rodolphus
This isn't the kind of this or that question that can be summed up with a simple answer. Both of them serve many purposes, in many categories. Some equally, some separately. Rodolphus is, undoubtedly, my closest of confidantes. But that is not to say that I would sweep Amycus under the rug were it asked of me. I would fight for either of them.Â

life or death
"To die, to sleep; To sleep: perchance to dream: ay, there's the rub;For in that sleep of death what dreams may comeWhen we have shuffled off this mortal coil,Must give us pause: there's the respectThat makes calamity of so long life."
Peacocks or suits?
What a foolish question. The two don't even exist in the same category. If it came down to it, I suppose I would choose suits. There are other animals that exude majesty. I'll find another.
Montmartre or Champs-ĂlysĂŠes ~
I am so bored of France's 'quaint' villages. If there aren't custom leather goods within a half mile radius, I'm really not interested.
Having all of your stuff stolen by Theo or having it all destroyed by Amycus
I don't generally worry as much about Theodore destroying my shit. He might squirrel it away somewhere... I'm sure I could find it...
Daddy Salazar or the sacrifice snakes for parseltogue attempts ~
What I hate about this question is that the answer is clearly Salazar, and he bloody knows it.
Lucius Malfoy or Mucius Lalfoy
Oh, Mucius Lalfoy for sure. That Lucius Malfoy guy? Heâs a complete arse.
Make me choose between:

Much to her dismay, when Marlene went to try on her robes for the upcoming year she found that they were all at least two sizes to small for her. She hadnât thought that sheâd grown that much in the last year, but alas. Upon arriving at Diagon Alley she immediately headed to Madam Malkinâs to get herself some new uniforms as well as dress robes and a cloak. As per her fathers instructions. The uniforms were simple, purchased almost as quickly as they were tried on. The dress robes were just stupid, she didnât even know why her Dad wanted her to get a new set. They didnât have any fancy occasions coming up, but he said that she could never be too prepared.Â
Marlene was stood looking at the gaudy dress robes that Madam Malkin had put her in. Marlene felt that they made her look like a literal rectangle. As she was inspecting them, she felt a pair of eyes on her back.Â
ââWould you like to take a picture? Itâll last longer!ââ She said, before spinning around with an angry scowl on her face.Â
Madam Malkin's. The shop was teeming with first years. Seventh years; likely all years in between. Lucius had a heavy distaste for formalities, especially as he seemed to acquire them more rapidly as time progressed. Madam Malkin had some sort of deal worked out with his father. A deal who's details were explicitly left to omission, and Abraxas made it quite clear that there was no discussion to be had. So Lucius was stuck in a corner with a fitting team, measuring tapes and pins around the bulk of his hands and fingers to accommodate for the pair of leather gloves he had ordered. His own robes were custom fitted and ordered from an old family tailor on reserve in Milan, and there was no way that this pathetic excuse for a faculty was going to upstage Fabrizio's exquisite talent for stitching. It had gotten easier for Lucius to tune out the noise around him. There were no conversations happening between his lessers that had any valueâ of that he could be certain. But a familiar voice plagued the airwaves around him, and he couldn't deny that his curiosity had piqued once he'd heard the younger girl berate some innocent bystander who'd been gawking. Perhaps because they couldn't figure out which of the McKinnons she was. Being rather unremarkable, this was a mistake he assumed many people made. "You're not playing very nice, Marlene." He quipped, rolling the sleeve back on the opposing arm so a different woman could start measuring his other hand, "That's an easy way to break a camera. They're expensive, as you know."

Regulus falls rather ungracefully onto the couch next to Luciusâ these heels would be difficult to walk in even if he wasnât this intoxicated, okayâ watching him pour powder into the drink. He doesnât know what it is, but at the moment he doesnât really care.
âDo you really think that little of me?â He jokes, holding out his own glass of champagne to Lucius. âGimme some of that and Iâll be your friend forever?â
Regulus falls onto the couch beside Lucius, and although well on his way to immense intoxication, it illicits a brow raise from the older boy. Reg was wearing heels. Reg is wearing a dress. No tuxedo. No black tie. No cummerbund. An actualy dress. It bring a mischievous grin to Lucius's eye. "Regulus." Lucius mixes most of the powder into the drink, though he stops just short of emptying it all as Regulus makes an acceptable request. "Don't you look smashing." He flashes his teeth, pressing the tiny bag low and fast to the other boy. "Of course. What's mine is yours." Lucius narrows his eyes, ".. In this situation, anyway."
