He can’t support his own weight because his tummy is full of lentils
He is vengeance. He is the knit.
(just kidding, he’s crocheted)
The base doll (including the hair) is a free pattern from Chai Coffee Crochet and then I kind of frankensteined their cape pattern and the ears from their cat doll onto an improvised cowl shape
had the worst job interview of my life yesterday but at least Bunnywing has my back
At the risk of setting foot into comic book discourse, in issue #6 of Batman wouldn’t it have been way better thematically for Tim’s big announcement to be that he wanted to tell Bernard his secret identity? Like given that the established drama was Annika accidentally finding out who one Robin is, the parallel plot beat to that is the other Robin wanting to tell someone intentionally, and it would’ve flowed a lot better and made the pacing feel less jittery
Plus like, if they were going to have Tim quit Robin that’s fine but I would’ve wanted to see some of that decision making process for him rather than just dropping it as an already done deal, especially when they just gave him his cool new outfit and made a big deal about how good it is having two Robins in interviews
however!
this little Frankenstein reference was so good and designed for me specifically to enjoy
(and I loved Tim and Damian’s conversation though I will be sorely disappointed if there isn’t payoff later of them hanging out doing civilian things)
Diana, Witch of the Wild Isles - based on Circe (1885) by John Collier
(this was sitting for ages almost-done except the background, until I realised that I have free will and can just put a stock photo of the Mediterranean back there)
Otter, Ocelot, Crocodile - Chapter 1 - LucretiaFeature - Hatchetfield Series - Team StarKid [Archive of Our Own]
Completed as of 20 minutes ago! NPMD Daemon AU, mostly following and embellishing canon except for a little bit where I went off the rails.
My son. My perfect enormous boy, rendered in felt.
very sketchy pattern below the cut if anyone wants to make their own absolute plushman 🦇🧸
It’s Cass ballet doodles! Yay ✨ (and Dick joining in the tumbles)
they’re doing choreo from Cats the Musical
related, this image I spent too long making and I don’t even know if it’s funny:
Can’t believe Dick Grayson invented being a boy ✨
So was anyone gonna tell me that
a) Bruce Wayne has a Letterboxd account
b) he watches gay romantic dramas in order to be a better ally to his bisexual son
or was I just supposed to find that out in DC Pride 2023 myself
Just a little bug 🔍
Real talk though what do I have to read after Silk #1-#7? I found the trade paperback on a bookshelf in a hotel in rural Scotland and loved it but it ends on a massive cliffhanger and I have no idea where it fits in wider continuity! Please help me 🙏
WIP of Sue Storm and baby Franklin
I kind of fell off the MCU a while ago, partly because so many writing choices were misogynistic imo - so imagine how happy I was that the new F4 was capable of giving a female character so much interiority and dignity!! Can't wait for Doomsday to inevitably mess it up :(
At least for now I can bask in the glory of a mass-market action film having their main villain fight be a metaphor for childbirth, directly visually paralleled to a literal childbirth. I'm just glad the MCU is finally utilising the yonic symbolism potential of interstellar wormholes.
About the WIP - thick, graphic outline or thin sketchy outline? or no outline at all?
love my little Creature 🦇
I really loved Superman (2025) but I do agree with what a lot of people are saying that making Jor and Lara evil was not the move.
I really really wish that, instead, Luthor never says if the translation was real, with the implication being it was either fully made up or translated with such a negative agenda that innocent phrases were made sinister (eg. something like “I hope you find people who love you” becomes the part about taking many wives, because translations are always slightly biased and never more so than when they’re based off a single extant text of a dead language and paid for by a billionaire looking to ruin one guy’s life specifically).
But then I think it would have incredible angst potential if the way the message was extracted from the fortress computer was so destructive and careless that the original message was destroyed completely, and the only extant copy left is the one from the news that’s been dubbed over with bile so that the original Kryptonian is inaudible. Then Clark has to deal with a) knowing that he could’ve finally heard the rest of the message but it got ripped away from him by Luthor’s hatred and b) having to grieve his birth parents all over again because the only version of them he’s ever really known is lost to him
My birthday is tomorrow, which means (more importantly) happy birthday Tim Drake!!! 🎉
My gift is a Daemon AU - he gets an aye-aye because he's nocturnal, clever, and loves solving puzzles. Also because he is, imo, really unlucky even by Gotham standards, and aye-ayes are sometimes seen as a bad omen (sorry Tim, I promise I love you)
SuperMoomin and The Clarkmaiden… or something…
