An Iconic love story with a promising future depicted in the eyes of Rouje Paris in the Style Icon editorial. This campaign is somewhat of a belles-lettres to the “American Love Story” presenting to us a collection inspired by CBK and JFK in with references filled with admiration for the power couple. Casting Hedi Segalen as JFKJR and Mathilda Galmot as Carolyn Bessette the campaign appears to have been shot in Paris, however it perfectly translates the New York-centric spirit of the Kennedys in the 90s also making it almost impossible to distinguish between actual images of the couple and the Style Icon campaign. Needless to say the clothes are to die for, a minimal array of pieces like the Robe Inès (pictured), the Carrie skirt and overcoats like the Marceau, Samuel and Renaud, elongated, flowy, relaxed and belted to perfectly represent the spirit and aura of the Style Icon, Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy……. And not to forget the matching JFKJR, which I am sure we can all agree we love!
Stourhead is one of England’s finest gardens. Set around a lake it contains numerous temples, a grotto and superb mature plantings of trees and shrubs. The use of water to produce perfect reflections is a typically English tradition and increases the feeling of space and tranquility.
