no one looks dumber than a guy who calls a girl ugly after he was just hitting on her
a guy who calls a girl a whore for not sleeping with him is a strong contender
they’re the same guy

i accidentally went into a lane thinking it was to turn right but quickly realised it was a two lane street and I’d just pulled onto the side for cars going the opposite way… I went back into my lane straight away but the damn lady behind me I could see her smug look in the mirror.

The North and South Korean Winter Olympic Teams marched together under the Korean Unification flag at the opening ceremony of the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics. The athletes were greeted by a thunderous applause when they joined hands and entered the stadium.
Why are people having so much issue with the article, I agreed with it? The title isn’t the most eloquent thing ever but the article wasn’t encouraging cheating, where you go behind your partners back, but instead looking at the issue of cheating as a not black-and-white thing where there’s one horribly evil person who just wanted to have fun/get laid with one traumatized-for-life victim. Instead, like most- nah, let me say with ANYTHING in real life beyond fiction, the article sees the grays in cheating and why the person cheated in the first place. Not to say that cheating isn’t a horrible thing to do, but I feel like people need to understand that there are reasons people do the things they do. People who cheat are human beings. They could feel horrible about it, they could be trapped in a marriage or relationship that they don’t feel they can escape, they can feel insecure and unloved. Again, not to say it’s something you should ever do, but dehumanizing someone over a mistake is just as bad in my opinion. There’s nowhere where they can talk about their experiences, and it’s likely we know a lot of people who have cheated in our lives even if they haven’t (or were too scared) to tell us about it.
“dehumanizing someone over a mistake”

the entirety of apple products is just an example of how we’ll never be able to stop capitalism because if it goes any further we’ll just accept it. like there is no reasonable explanation to the fact that people will pay 30 dollars for something that cost 50 cents to make other than that we are complacent in our own societal demise
“we slow phones down on purpose” “we took out the headphone jack so now you have to pay for adapters” “we literally took out the USB DRIVE. on a LAPTOP. and are charging 40 bucks for a mini usb cable that is functionally useless” “oh we also pay our workers 10% of a fucking living wage”
people: ok cool as long as the message bubble is blue
