Hello! My name is Tox, I am a 30yo writer looking for a long term roleplay partner in the Baldur's Gate 3 fandom to help me write a spawn Astarion centered story about him reconnecting with his more elvish roots. I have 10 years of writing experience, I write in the third person, and would consider myself somewhere between an advanced and novella storyteller. I tend to produce about 1000 words per reply, prioritizing your experience, plot progression, atmosphere, and character interiority in equal measure. I'm looking for someone 21+ who can match that energy and who is as insane about Astarion as I am.
This story is an AU where Astarion learns about the DND spell "gift of life" and his chase for it.
"Gift of life" is a 9th level high elven magic spell that can bring any undead back to life, something I think he would find very interesting. At first he will be focused on just his life being restored, but as it progresses and he comes into contact with more and more elves, he will begin to see that Cazador took a lot more than just his life. Imagine this... Astarion, being disconnected from his elven roots during the centuries served under Cazador, discovers this spell. It's a unique opportunity to get away from Cazador, or at least his doomed life as a vampire spawn. It's a chance to live again, to get a real second chance.
There is just one problem.
The spell can only be completed by a high elven magic practitioner. The ONLY place where they can meet someone like that is on the elven island nation of Evermeet nearly half a world away. He is so close, he just has to get there.

I am looking for partner that will help spin this story, dive into elven lore, elevate Astarion's character, and bring him into a new light, one we haven't ever seen before. I am looking for someone to play as Astarion while I play Halsin OR a mature male elf Tav of your choice. This will be a MxM romance with spice involved.
