So I have officially found my dream job and am now a Tavern Keeper at The Arcanists Tavern which is opening a week from today!

The Arcanist's Tavern - Shoreditch

Roll dice and uncover mysteries in a real fantasy tavern! We are an immersive tabletop gaming cafe, with custom tables for TTRPGs and Wargam

It's a fully immersive board gaming cafe with TTRPG tables and Wargaming tables downstairs! This place is two nerds dream come to life and I'm very excited to be part of the team making it a reality. So if you fancy visiting our little Tavern that slips between the realms of London and Aerturnum come visit us we're open from the 16th March and taking bookings already!

This is going to be such an amazing space for UK based nerds to gather and is proudly an LGBTQIA safe place due to a beautifully queer team running it including our co-founders!

I will probably be posting a bunch of stuff in the run up to us opening as it's a very exciting time and I want to share it with you all!

First of all, how dare you separate Robin from Steve; alone, they're hopeless, but together, they're unstoppable.

What about Steve, whose high school cliques experience might have been more broken down into an awareness of all the different sports teams and then also a big broad sort of "not jocks" grouping that probably had some gradation of the nerdiness scale at most, being like "As someone who has come to realize that not-jocks and even nerds specifically are a-ok, Eddie Munson is probably completely fine except for the part where he's stealing all my friends,"

and Robin, as someone far more entrenched in the minutiae of the many, many non-jock clubs and cliques and all their varying social standings and stereotypes and group-wide personality profiling amongst each other, is the half of their duo to go: "What? NO. Eddie Munson is the enemy. We hate him."

Steve: "Sorry, who is 'we'? I just said he's probably fine."

Robin: "Marching band, Steve! Marching band hates him!"
