Ok so it's been a while since I've been meaning to making an announcement for this but I've decided to start again and move to whole new tumblr account this time just titled @/ludwigoat

I have many reason for doing this. The two main reasons being my mental health and the other being the fact that I haven't really been doing what I wanted to do online for a while which was to originally make and share my art. A lot of times I've spent on this account has been me mostly me engaging with posts and comment that make me angry which has def done a tole to my mental health and frankly I do not like that. I don't want to let my anger issue res-surge online and I hope that with this new account that I made it can motivate me to be more careful with how I interact online and maybe start sharing my work + I also in general don't tend to like leaving to much of a digital footprint. Additionally a lot of my mutuals are from Milgram, and while I still like it's characters a lot I've been feeling very detached from it, mostly because of the direction the series ended up having which does leaves me a little frustrated to say the least.

With that being said I wouldn't mind if any of you still choose to follow me on my new account. I haven't posted much but i did start a sideblog where I share my silly Tomodachi life island full of Mikus.

If you truly are a transfeminist you should support a transfem to go out and explore and make a wide variety of friends. You should make her feel safe enough to know that, if she does come accross an unsavory individual, she's going to be okay because you have her back.

If you encourage her to isolate herself and be paranoid that everyone is out to get her, that she should seperate herself away from everyone else, youre an unsafe person to be around.

Youre essentially telling her that she needs to hide for "her safety" and that the world is too dangerous for her to handle. Youre sapping her life away and youre preventing her from living life to its fullest. She could meet the coolest person around, but because of the echo chamber that is tumblr transfeminism, youve convinced her that she can only be friends with other transfems and she cant ever step outside of that box, effectively cutting her off from the rest of the entire world's population.

Be a true transfeminist by supporting her to grow and flourish and find new friends and interests. Be a true transfeminist by helping her gain confidence. Be a true transfeminist by allowing her to explore and be awkward and have fun. Be a true transfeminist by allowing her agency and by trusting her autonomy.

Its misogynistic to think a woman cant think for herself and needs constant coddling and needs to be protected. She'll ask for help when she needs it. You dont need to hold her hand and make her fear everybody. You just need to have her back when she asks for help.

It's the same kind of victim blaming that happens to cis bisexual women who end up hurt by men. "She chose to be with a man, what did she think was gonna happen?" When a trans woman comes to you and says "I had a bad experience with x" or "x hurt me" are you going to say "I'm so sorry that happened to you" and actually support her or you going to say "that's what you get for interacting with someone who's not TMA." What if she's hurt by another trans woman? How are you going to decide who to support? Will you actually evaluate the situation on its merits? Or will you decide that this is somehow a ploy to make trans women look bad?

If you want to support trans women you have to actually support trans woman. You can't decide how you feel about a situation based purely on the optics and vibes. Trans women are vulnerable, trans women are marginalized, trans women are at risk- it is dangerous to be a trans woman right now. That is why we, as a community, all have to look out for each other. We won't all get along- we don't all get along. That's why we need the community, to make sure there is a net strong enough to catch the people who are falling through the holes in "polite society" before they hit the ground.

It took 42 years to realize this but one possible definition of love is taking a person in the best possible faith by default.

Sounds like it should be obvious but many with CPTSD have parents or relationships where they were not trusted at their word. They had learned to provide evidence, citation and rationale for their behaviours only to be misbelieved, accused and treated as guilty regardless of the truth.

We are one such human.

It has been mentioned before on this journal that our father used to set 'traps' to test us on things, such as hiding dish soap to ensure we used it and when we put it back where we found it, assuming a reason for its odd location, it was used as proof we had not done the task correctly.

Over decades we were conditioned to expect our truth to be rejected on first contact.

Last week while ordering a New York slice we said something that prompted a gentle "one day you won't expect me to treat you the way others have" from our partner.

It wasn't hurt. It wasn't accusing. It was just her recognizing a truth in us and knowing it was part of loving us and that she wished for a world where we were not reacting to wounds that should have healed by now.

No coercion or expectation. Just a hope.

That's what love is, isn't it?

Believing someone at their word. Assuming they want the best for the relationship. That there is no ill intention or potential betrayal oncoming.

Maybe it's not a form of love we are accustomed to receiving or delivering. Maybe it takes work to get there. But it goes beyond trust and faith. It's an acceptance of a person so natural that the trust and faith do not need to be earned or proven because they're baked in.

That is love, isn't it?

Me irl: the problem isnt taxes, youre thinking too small. The problem is that the federal government isnt taxing the right people the right amount. Theyre taking all our extra cash in our measly little wealth bracket and letting the billionaires hang on to more money than they can ever spend in a lifetime. The only way anybody gets a single billion is either through exploitation or inheriting it from someone else who did the exploitation, nobody who has that kind of money earned it legitimately. Not only do we need to strip that back into social safety nets for those of us theyre bleeding dry instead, but they need to establish hard laws and regulations to prevent that kind of exploitation from happening in the first place!

Me on tumblr: while i appreciate the animosity towards billionaires, i dont think literally dragging a guillotine into the streets and beheading people as a public spectacle is going to actually solve the problems inherent in the system considering the french already tried that and it didnt work out well for them. Also i dont think anybody has the right to decide who lives and who dies, im pretty anti death penalt-

i’ve been having chronic back issues for a long time, since late november, and after literally staying awake for days screaming in agony, i was finally given a diagnosis.

i have 3 herniated discs in my back, as well as degenerative back disease. there is a solution, but i work a physical job, so i will be applying for leave ASAP, but in the mean time anything helps! i have not really been able to work the past two weeks, but i’d really just like help with groceries and next month’s rent! i am not even sure if i’ll be released from the hospital today, so if you can, please reblog!
