I love how in wha virtually ANYONE can do what qifrey did in defeating that dragon in the maze while saving his qiflings. Like, wha doesnt have a chosen-one trope like Harry Potter, and that’s so special to me. Literally ANYONE with the right supplies, time, and practice can become a witch.

It’s amazing because it defies the idea that you are what you were born into.

Ex: Coco was born an outsider, but she defied expectations (granted, she had special circumstances) and actually BECAME a witch.

Chosen one tropes are the bane of my existence, because they push the idea that uou are what you’re born into. Like Harry Potter, he was literally prophesied to be the end of Voldemort and that’s what he accomplished. However, I just can’t stand that, because it’s such a stagnant view. It convinces people that may be born into poor conditions to believe that’s ALL they’re going to be: what they were inherently made into regarding their personal situation.

Ultimately, by making it conceivable for anyone to become a witch with the right supplies, WHA encouraged the belief that you can be more than what you already are; you CAN grow; you CAN improve; your present conditions do not dictate what you can become.

I honestly cannot wait for everyone to reunite and then for the tables to split again and for Wick and Tyranny to be separated due to some circumstance. I desperately need them to be apart from each other for a longer extended period of time than just a few hours.

This could also be fueled with the fact that I am part of the minority that absolutely does NOT ship them at all, but I really just want them to lose that HEAVY codependency they have for one another.
